Do you pay for services to help your punting? Have you assessed their Return On Investment and Profit on Turnover (POT%) and have you deducted the costs of the service off your profit line?
I am happy to assess any service (or already have) for free here on the village to ensure it has 100% accountability of results and don't use "best price" etc in results.
If I don't have the review handy I can check the quality of the service via a Five Star rating system of value for money.
I will not recommend any service - just provide the POT% and fees so you can choose. Services that provide no results obviously get no stars as you can be 100% assured they are already making big losses.
Most of the services I have assessed have now closed, but we have a range of new ones now (same people, different badge).

Would love to see your assessment of Tom’s service - in whole and by ‘package’.

The "Gold" package is probably the best indicator here for the somewhat desperate Tom Waterhouse. The results are not very accountable on a per bet basis but we have found the results accurate month by month which is essential for any repeat business. The Profit on Turnover is 14.1% but dont forget you need to deduct over 4100 per month fee off that figure, so if you are a $50 punter it will smash your profit % quickly....BUT...the biggest issue is the results are based on the BEST price on offer and at time of posting! This is madness as these BEST prices are set ups and dont last. It would be very easy to lose long time with these results and I would rate the service 2 stars. Even the 14% is a bit thin compared to some results from cheaper services.

The "Best Bets" package only has 60 bets for the past 12 months and has made a good start. We need to see around 500 bets prior to judgement. Results again based on getting Best price!

Thanks Whale - Interesting template for assessing services. I would have thought that 100% accountable long term results would rate highest as who really knows otherwise unless you pay and trial yourself for a year or more

The Potts Plays service.

Potts Plays: Overall rating of 58. New service and limited number of bets to get a reliable long term trend. Profit is limited and price get sensitive. Cost is slightly above average given product and would eat into annual profit margin significantly unless you are a $200+ unit bet punter. Put on watch for another 3 years. $25/w might be an offer later

Racepal Australia - rating of 48 points - performance and communication avg to poor. Expensive

This is a new service that uses SLACK as its communication device which works quite well. They keep changing the goalposts when systems don't bring a profit so just be a little wary re results. Their ALL bets are returning 5% POT which look open and honest, and "set and forget" bets a loss of 9%. Their best bets have only had just over 100 bets so hard to assess at this early stage but turnover very small. Communication is poor to arrogant so don't ask too many questions!

Horsetorque - another low rating of 55. There are no results for their bets either short term or long term. An analysis of the market specials showed a large loss over 12 months but results now taken down. Sounds a nice chap but why pay $ to lose?. Main concern is they are focusing on speed and weight ratings - a sure way to go broke!
