All these look unders to my eye atm but I'm prepared to back the 1 and 8 at around the same price, 2 if she blows significantly, 5 if he gets to $2.40 ish. Thoughts?

I am on Noire at $3.60. Has had a couple of Trials and looks the goods. I think she is around her right price now. |

On reflection maybe she is a touch unders first up now. $3.00 would sound better. |

Yes similar leadup to her first up win last time Aurelius. Apparently they (TAB?) opened her at $4.80. Form around her is super but weight, Shinn and fitness of a few others will stop me following the money at this point. Will be in the finish. Freedman reported that Roman Son was same as last time, no improvement. Expects him to win "if he's good enough". Might be wrong but I think he'll get to 5/4 at some point.

Okay 3b. 1. Looks the winner, but odds on for a non winner is dangerous. 2. Her and Pleasuring are the only winning hopes. One will win! 3. As above. The Sydney selections look the top ones in their races but as the stable have said with Coup De Main, he is stepping out in stronger company. Do not sell Solo Mission short against Roman Son either. With Test The World you will be nail biting in the last 150m because it is a deep field with Ulmann, Charlie Boy, Mr Sneaky, Moher, Tougherthantherest, Privlaka and even the roughies Otraged and Go Nicholas some hope. 4 - looks a bet to me. Leader in an weak highway. 5 - Have taken this price. Only danger (Solo Mission) was flattered last start up inside but has untapped potential, J-Mac and up in distance so won't say it has none. 6 - It's a lay at that price for me. Great chance but think it should get out to $3.50 or $4. Playing around it for now. 7 - Thought it was just good the other day, then I saw C Brown and barrier 1 and I went looking to find something to take it on but couldn't do so (don't know enough QLD form). If there was something forward in the run with half-decent form I'd be all over it. Will be staying out.

A profitable thread 3 BM.... You were on the ball .. Hope you stuck as it was a layers dream today. The subject deserved more interest .. I was "form" handicapped overnight , my Monitor went down and I had to wait until I used seniority on my I.T. Sons , just after day break. One responded in quick time and I got a dollar, so the Weet Bix aren't on the menu for a few days. I had Comin Through in my "white book " and didn't stick. That's what betting with frightened money does to us. |
