A vet told me a year ago that he'd injected the knees of a Group placed mare 52x Disapprove
No, I was never able to work out who.

vets just love these injections. the few times i used them i wondered about the danger of contamination of the joint by the very implement that was supposed to ease the inflammation.

what was revealed in the synovial fluid could be enlightening, and frightening. ideally thick, like honey.
one poor animal had bloodied fluid, from a hock.
not worthwhile persevering.

another i saw at a vets, in the crush had at least 2-3 injections per joint, knee, hock and all the bottom joints, as witnessed by all the empty injections discarded on the ground.

is a hard life.

Our colt has had two and his knee is now more swollen.
