Hello, many thanks for the kind response to my topic. Btw, Camelot traces back to Kincsem, the unbeaten Hungarian racemare and later broodmares. She only had 5 foals and ironically she died at the same day as was foaled. Camelot is via her daughter Budagyönge (by Buccaneer, won German Derby). Her FS Ollyan-nincs is the 5th dam of Winnica, who founded a succesful branch in Germany, see last years German Derby winner Windstoss. regards, Ticino |

Hello, Furious, These 5-h branches are different one, Vali is the frenchbased Fam. 5-h (see Zabeel), pretty close related with the Goody Two Shoes/Dalmary Family. Waldrun via "Wie So" (imported during the early 20th Century from Austria/Hungary) to German you have to go back some 200 Years for the common ancestor. | 16 c is here with the Zabeel family. 22d had a great stallion in Australia with Pipes of Peace. We have some 2f lines here but can't think of a great stallion from that family here at the moment. Elegant Fashion from the same branch as Deep Impact being the best here and she's a mare. |

Hello, Second Chance remark about Ancient Spirits ped is correct, especially in the damline. An interesting Observation his Sire 'Invincible Spirit' was a sprinter, but as a rule his offspring covers distances up to 2000 meter. Btw, Ancient Spirit is pretty close related with Almandin, both horses tracing to "Amarette", Alamandin is a 3/4 relative of Amarette regards, Ticino

We've had more luck in Australia with the 13a (So You Think and the Juliet and Royal News families) and 13c (Wilkes was a Champion sire from this branch). The 13b branch also includes Star Witness and the Hebrew Maid family which regularly produces stakes winners on our calendar. |
