Pretty stoked that today I bred my first city winning 2yo in Miss Sara in Brisbane. Feels very nice, can only imagine what those of you who have bred a stakes winner feel

Marvelous stuff Ian, especially being in the stud game so long before actually breeding your own.  Star

All people who work with thoroughbreds , put in long hard hours that is mostly poorly rewarded . It definitely makes some of those hours worth it when you get a good result .

Conrats .

Miss Sara won her 2nd race today at Doomben, leading virtually all the way. A winner over 1200m as a 2yo and now as a 3yo over 2240m.   Gee it feels good to breed a winner in town. I would still love her to come to Clifton on Cox Plate Day and winnthe 1400m Clifton Cup, how good would that be to be the toast of the town lol

She was a $12,000 yearling and has now won $232,000.   Consistent without being brilliant.

On a lighter note I will sell her full brother at QTIS.

It is so satisfying to breed your own. We have had a great prep with our "homebred" Sexy Eyes. She gave us our first Sydney win then our first Group 3 at Gosford.  It just makes you smile on the inside.  Enjoy the feeling as with breeding TB's you never know what you are going to wake up to! Confused

"on a lighter note" we have a "cousin" for sale at the MM QTIS sale LOL

Cheers
Jill

Congrats Ianb.

Wow she is tough.

12 starts as a 2yo.

21 starts already as a early February 3yo.

She must be the runningest 3yo of her generation.
