After the runaway success of the 2017 thread let’s do it again. Two weeks to go until we click over to 2018 so get your entries in now. We had a couple of winners last year with OneOne belatedly claiming Charles Manson and one or two others nailing a stiff. What can we get this time?
Rules: - List 10 people (celebrities preferably) who will kick the bucket in 2018 - Bragging rights only but the younger the person the higher the kudos - No people with already known death dates (eg death row inmates)
Best of luck!

Obviously don't count, seeing as they are both over numbers and not people. Just a talking point if it happens. I've probably got 14 "live chances" listed now who'll all still be alive and well come next New Year There's really one one on that list I'd like to see gone.....

Probably not well known but worth a mention was the passing of Cyril Regis. Made his fame as part of a trio of black players (West Bromwich Albion) in the English first division as it was known back in the 70's. They copped a lot of abuse from the stands but was a great player and a true gentleman. RIP

Reminds me of a young bloke training WBA about that time Newtown Old Boy, the coach noticed him sitting all alone went up and fronted him with " why aren't you training with the other lads? the young bloke replied that the people watching were throwing things at him, " what kinda things ," all sorts of things like fruit an that,.just get back there and train and if they throw anymore bring me back a banana and an apple.

In the modern era backs are as big as forwards typically, but in the good old days Rugby League was a game that could be played at the highest level by any body type and size. There still plenty of little blokes play it now.

No interest in ballet either but dopey's question prompted some interest in outfits
On stage, a ballerina may wear a variety of different costumes,
depending on the style and/or ballet she is performing. If performing a
classical role, she may be wearing a classical or romantic tutu. If it
is character role, she may be wearing a longer, fuller dress with
character shoes.
In contemporary ballets, the costumes are usually more form fitting
to better show off the interesting lines and positions in the
choeography, as well as the dancer’s physique.

Changa was a freak, one of the best side steps of all time, reasonably tall for the day, wiry and tough, and one of the few full time "professionals" in the 70's ... the only reason for that was that his day job was Captain/Coach!

I am very interested in fitness, body types and attributes suited to different sports.
I imagine that Rugby players are more explosively powerful, better sprinters but not such good endurance athletes and agile as AFL players.
Correct me if I am wrong.

And the old dude who founded Ikea furniture died in his 90ies. Worth squillions and bought everything he owned from op shops. Shame some young bimbo didnt grab him and cash in. Such a waste of a fortune. Wonder did he give any to charity .

In theory a charitable foundation owns IKEA, but it may be an elaborate tax dodge, because the amount the charitable foundation spends on charity is miniscule compared to its assets.

My dad was not religious at all, I know of him going to church only twice in the 33 years I knew him and one was when we buried him. He was however a big fan of Billy Graham and the only thing remotely religious I remember of him was in 1968 0r 69 making us watch the live tv coverage of a crusade in Melbourne

Approximately 250,000 pilgrims slept overnight at Randwick, and about 300,000 to 400,000 participants attended the Final Mass celebrated by Pope Benedict XVI on Sunday 20 July. Pope Benedict continued a tradition of Australian Papal Masses at Randwick Racecourse, following in the footsteps of John Paul II and Paul VI.
