For those that dont mind i am creating this thread so that anything WA related can be talked about here....so mods if you want to put the "BLACK HEART BART" and "REAL LOVE" threads in here then please do so.

I will get the ball rolling by mentioning Silent Sedition...here is a link below to confirm that this horseisa WA horse

http://enewspaper2.thewest.com.au/Repository/getFiles.asp?Style=OliveXLib:LowLevelEntityToPrint_TAB&Type=text/html&Locale=english-skin-custom&Path=TAB/2016/05/06&From=Archive&ID=Ar00303" rel="nofollow - http://enewspaper2.thewest.com.au/Repository/getFiles.asp?Style=OliveXLib:LowLevelEntityToPrint_TAB&Type=text/html&Locale=english-skin-custom&Path=TAB/2016/05/06&From=Archive&ID=Ar00303

As i said anything abiut WA horses can be discussed here particularly those WA horsesin the east.

I encourage all of you to get on board and support this thread.

Thank you.

Can't we just discuss BHB and Real Love in the already existing threads? That would be so much easier than creating another thread when we already have plenty to talk about in the particular horses thread

Jamal just likes to bang on ad nauseam about how great any horse with even the slightest link to WA is after it has won or even looked good in any race east of the bight, I say let him have his thread so those who find his rampant parochialism tiresome can avoid it!

WA horses Vega Magic and Samovare will be transferred to the Hayes and Dabernig stable, Vega Magic is likely to run in the G1 Goodwood first up and the G1 Rupert Clarke Stakes in the spring is an option too. As for Samovare she will be assessed when she arrives at the stable for suitable options. Also Rock Magic may run in the TJ Smith.

The horses pike usually rides...pink white crossed sashes..

why are they almost always $1.40 chances? The owner is worth a heap apparently...but is their a formula in why these colors produce successful horses that go around at tomato sauce odds so often? is it weight of numbers, breeding...a combo??

it just seems striking.

Is First Among Equals not WAn Jamal?

We know where they're from  what we want to know is which is the best hope, esp of the newcomers.

Think Vega Magic is currently big unders despite the recent jumpouts. Expect he'll ease markedly though. Want double figs to back him.

FAE is drawn wide, will go back. Looks nicely weighted. Currently $17, reckon you get $20+ later and is worth a spec at that price.

Congratulations to WA racing icon John "J.J" Miller for being inducted into the Australian Racing Hall of Fame today. Johnny was a champion jockey who rode 2000 winners including teaming up with Bart Cummings to ride Galilee to victory in the 1966 Caulfield and Melbourne Cup's and the Sydney Cup in 1967....and no horse has won the Caulfield, Melbourne and Sydney Cup's in the same season since. Johnny then became a successful trainer and I believe his greatest training triumph was training King Of Saxony to victory in the 1999 Perth Cup....and get this......first up after an 8-month spell, and the horse who finished second in that Perth Cup (beaten by 0.2 lengths) was WA horse Rogan Josh who went on to win the Melbourne Cup later that year. Once again well done Johnny Miller and a great day for WA racing.

Expect Military Reign to go close if she handles the straight R3.

Santa Ana Lane will win if the pace is strong but that's rarely the case in these straight races. Rough Justice also tough to beat.
