Very nice! Bel Esprit really does stamp them!

I have a Danzero - Bells All Round colt... that still going through his "ugly phase". Haven't got any decent photos of him yet.

Funny you should say that Bel. we're going to race them both down here in Tassie all going well but we have a friend who is constantly jibbing us about selling the Bel Esprit on the mainland. photos dont show it but she is absolutely huge for her age. she is so nice that we would always regret it if we did sell.

ta Bel, bol to you too. we just wouldnt usually even have one by a stallion that expensive. bought the mare in foal and so far so good. the bels that have raced down here have all gone reasonable from what i have seen. funny re the rear foot marking. bel esprit doesnt have a white marking on his foot

little know fella - Brilliant Leader. Danehill x Seascape. he does us down here tho. weve had 3 race race in tassie by him and all are winners from 1000m - 2380m. happy to continue using him. we only have a couple of foals are year apart from the last as we only race them , not sell. got one mare 14 days over in foal to him and another due mid november to him.

Sequi, this filly and mine have the same backside, ER must put his stamp on them, they seem to power off from the hindquarters when in play -- keep an eye out for our girl "Rocking News" should start in a couple of weeks. She is 4yo, had a rough start in life - we bought her as a weanling, her Dam's last foal, didn't have the nourishment in her milk. Ok now though.

the 1st photo is a racers edge the 2nd a rakti and the 3rd is a testa but the 4th  is called the rat  a racers edge , he is  a late foal always a wormy looking little gelati,  but tough as teeth,  wants to race wants to fight ,wants to be a race horse,  and the rat can run, really diggs in  when its on ,    even though he is half there size , he is a keeper , a pojetc sahll we say ,  but will need time and some extra food ,never seen a horse like him yet

Posted By: slowdown
Date Posted: 04 Feb 2012 at 8:44am
hi Max, really like the first Racers Edge and the other look good too. understand what youre saying about the 'rat'. we have one too from this drop. shes by our stallion but the mother took crook at around 3  months and she has always been a bit behind the others. same as you - well give her an extra year than the others and reckon all will be ok.
we live just outside Deloraine(north) on red soil country. plenty of rain and lots of good tucker for them . i dont train but we do a knock together type plan whereby they go into a large paddock of rye and clover til they are weaned and then they get our 5 acre triangle paddock . this has a continual slope up to one corner and flat at the bottom so it great for them to exercise together. i run a couple of sprays which are gravity fed from a spring so they get some green pick as well as dry and theyre fed twice a day.  we have a walker which we also use but mainly we use that to save us the first month of training fees by doing the slow stuff ourselves in the walker. wont take long to pay for itself and is easy enough to put them in after getting home from work.
as far as the Sav filly goes she is just about to complete her first month of training.  shes trained over at longford. all pretty good so far and today she does her first quicker work. I really like her but probably biased. the savs have been going great of late so were hopeful. i have ten people involved with her and some never have been involved so im hoping its a good experience for them. when you said youre sending mares down was that to breed or race?

Cheers Slowdown

Our 2YO NASD is going to have his first jump out in late April.
He finished a 200m gallop in 10 seconds easily 2 weeks ago.
Both the breaker and trainer said he may be special.
Will be able to access his ability after his first jump out.
