Pretty powerfully built for a Dundeel and not the refined High Chap head either. What is that yearling out of Djebel?

I like the front on this yearling, nice lay of shoulder and neck set on well, nice long forearms, good depth,  thinking he could be a bit too short in the coupling??

Its hard to say with some photos, they can tell lies, to my eye, he is quite upright in shoulder and in symmetry quite straight through the hocks as well, good length of rein though and good short cannons and long forearms. IMO

He has got a big shoulder and wither and a short neck and  small head in comparison !!  And a big girth !!
What a gut !  Looks like mine !!
Short back.
No quarter horse hind quarters which makes me think no sprinter.
I am not good on legs but they dont look too bad,,,,
Should he be a sprinter or stayer ??   On breeding ??

Thanks for the feedback.

Looks like an Encosta De Lago to my amateur eye, but a sprinter being out of an Exceed And Excel mare.

Did get the reaction I expected though by leaving out the sex. She's a filly.

Good luck with yours aa.

An attractive head is paramount to me so out on that score alone LOL & he's (?) too straight in the shoulder for me but in saying that, I like leggy, athletic types so again, a negative Wink
Wisdom has been chasing me but I've always outrun it!

I like the longish back legs, looks to me to be a sprinter but knowing my eye its japan cup winner or something :)

You need front and rear legs shots too I think, no good if they are bent out of shape.

Well I like this horse, don't know what it is about him, Roman nose maybe, stands up nice behind, will never be a bumper job, and could go quick, could be miles off, that's my take.
