She's been up a long time but the 1400m of the Sires would be tempting for connections.

Took the $51 about her for the slipper earlier in the week and got a great run for my money. Was an awesome effort in a leader dominated race. I agree she is the Best maiden going around. I hope she turns up for one more run.

Here's a question.

Having won prizemoney totalling $996,100.

Let's say she doesn't win her next start.

Has any horse ever won $1,000,000 in stakes money whilst still being a maiden?

It would be an amazing statistic to have.

You're either Einstein or Frankenstein in this game.

Sorry if this has been posted before, but here we go:

"Damian Lane was suspended for seven days for breaching the whip rules for his winning ride on El Dorado Dreaming in the Group 1 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m) at Randwick on Saturday.  Before the 100m, Lane used the whip nine times on the two-year-old, who caused a major upset at $81 to beat the Tony McEvoy-trained Oohood by a half-head.  Lane, who starts his ban on Sunday, was also fined $5000.

Won by a half-head.  So why wasn't the result reversed?

Good find SC
It is typical of how stupid the over governed racing game is now.
If its serious enough to fine and suspend but not change a result ?

It is up to connections to throw a protest in, but why would you be watching any other horse than your own? (Funny one that) stewards give jock 7 days and a fine but don't protest on behalf of all connections. Horse should have been D/Q imo

$996k in the bank and still a maiden;
Resumes on Saturday, could possibly get to $1 million without winning a race.
Not bad

Intriguing runner Saturday.

By far has the best form from the autumn, but will she be fully wound up.

Apparently Outback Barbie has pleased the stable enough to kick off her spring in Sydney, and Hayes/Dabernig, Futooh, trialled brilliantly as well, although she will improve over longer as well.

I also think Meryl is overs. Her trial was okay behind Performer and she did beat Bring The Magic home, who ran third behind Miss Fabulass on Wednesday at Canterbury.

Oohood should win, but there are fillies in the race who are capable of winning here.
Remember, it might take intelligence to be smart , but it takes experience to be wise
