MORE TAX - Event Date: 24 May 2019

Tasmania will join other Australian states with the introduce of a Point of Consumption Tax on wagering from January 1.

The tax will take up to 15 percent of the net wagering turnover of betting companies on Tasmanian racing.

   With a Bet on SPORTSBETTING , taking as little as 2.5% for the Pool .

I recalled the NSW Racing taxed Betfair on turnover & not profits .
That would be for use of products ..      I avoid NSW racing for that reason.
Punters have some hurdles to overcome .. lol
