Should group 1 winners get in the field in front of superior prizemoney earners ?

Alamosa will apreciate drawing in this time, but i still reckon Hussler by 2 lengths eased down

Scenic Blast and Sirmione. Pompei Ruler is not adverse to running a nice race first up either.

Weekend Hustler the obvious but prepared to risk with so many dark clouds over him.

I think Pompeii Ruler, Tuesday Joy and Scenic Blast can all give the Hussler a good workout here.

If he wants to win he will need to be pushed hard.

Ill prob take Hussler as a standout and box Scenic Blast, Alamosa and Pompeii for the placings. Cant go too far wrong

I reckon this is a better field than the Liston, other than LF.

Too bad the rail is out so far, horses like Cest La Guerre and Playwright face the possibility that there whole preparations are thrown into turmoil, due to the rail being out and therefore limiting field size. It is a joke.

Think the Hussler wins this.  Beaten a lip by the unbeaten Grey in the Liston.  Don't care if he's trained for 2400m+, he's a freak and deserves the respect.  Scenic Blast to be in the mix and watching for a run from PR & Maldivian to be running on well again.

Yeah that's how it was in the Ryder. Like $2.80 Hussler against basically nothing except RTW. This race has a lot more depth.

If they got fit on the training track rather than the racecourse it would not be a problem.

I am a bit worried about Hussler, if he doesn't win this they'll run him in everything to get a win, and by the time the Big 3 come around he will be burned out.

Assuming he is not already burnt out. I'm getting this Miss F vibe about this one. Some 3yo years are just too massive to go on with it.
