Pierro much stouter on the dam side than Lonhro.

Lonhro has been disappointing in the classic regard as has Lope De Vega more of the same Pierro might just break the mould.

Arguably so.

However 77 stakes-winners, 11 at Gp 1 level, Champion Australian Sire and in the Top 10 sires ten of the last eleven years ain't too shabby.

My one G1 limit rule for Lonhros, with the one exception being Pierro, is still holding up.

If you mean Lonhro, he shuttled to Kentucky.  Not sure how many times or if he still does but he was there in 2013 .  Pretty sure Pierro hasnt shuttled anywhere.

Someone was talking about Criaderas, by Lohnro. Not sure which thread. It’s in R9 Syd tomorrow.

Well Luskin Star was in the pedigrees of the first five across the line in last years VRC Derby.

Lonhro's dam was a 1/2 to Mahaya - AJC Oaks etc.

His 2nd dam is 1 1/2 sister to Grosvenor - VRC Derby, Caulfield Guineas, VRC Sires' Produce, Gloaming etc.  and National Gallery - WA Derby

He is the Sir Tristram line but does appear to throw sprinter milers but you can't really say there is no staying blood in his female line.  He isn't built like a bulky sprinter but refines that type and they can still sprint.  But I've always hoped one day he'd give us another Grosvenor type who could go early as a two year and then finished 2nd behind Kingston Town in the Cox Plate.

Lake Agawam, a 3 yo by Lonhro out of Hampion Classic, by winning at Morphetville today, has written his name into the trivia books.

Lonhro has now sired 1000 winners !

Hey Sister Dot he's a 25 year old stallion.  Don't be cynical.  The people at the stud love him to bits and will do all they can for him.  Anything can and does happen to them but it won't be because of neglect.
