A very underrated but talented filly.

Looks an each way special in R7 Warwick Farm today. She was enormous last start in a Group race, where she was wide, no cover, on speed in a race that played off-speed. Hung on really well.

Back to a BM78 today, down in the weights, drawn perfect, winner at the track & distance, each way odds. Wow - just get on!

Intended to but was busy and missed the race completely. Perfect ride by Wells. Would have killed them at WF on that.

R2 Randwick tomorrow $5.50/2.00 available B365. Formlines are terrific, won easily on WF heavy. Only neg I can see is coming back in distance but has been freshened 5 weeks.

On each way and she looks a great each way chance.

Not quite over the line - Easy Eddie (by the same obscure sire) and Revenire will be competitive.

Hope you backed him djebel. Missed the race but just watched the replay and Wells certainly didn't knock Lisdoonvarna around. Found distance just a little short.

3BM I agree - I felt like throwing him off and riding her out myself.

It rides like those I can't work out if I'm talking form my pocket or it's a classic example of how the whole thing stinks and we're mugs for having a bet.

What the would that achieve!!!

She was posted, no matter how you try and run the race in your mind that is how it panned out.

I was on, she had her chance in the straight and was disappointing.

I didn't have a problem with the positioning at all on the heavy, she was travelling. But I did think he could have ridden more forcefully over the last 200m. Need to have another look but the impression I got was that he'd resigned himself to losing when she wasn't picking them up, didn't want to knock her around and only got busy again when others came back to her.

Even though I had a large ew bet it was not a big issue for me, I think she may have been giving her best. Dufficy mentioned that she'd had a little setback. Think she's a better horse than all those she met today.

There's no doubt she will end up the best horse out of that race. I would say with almost 100% certainty that wells was told by the trainer to not knock her around. I was on and I was annoyed at the vigour. If trainers want to look after there horses that's all well and good but punters want green or blood.

Horse was laying in which made it very hard for the jock to go full bore. He had to be mindful to not take out the tiring Godolphin horse.

Good run though.

Just watched it again and also have no doubts he was being kind. I'm no familiar with Wells' style but I also looked at his last 3 rides on her and they were all similar.

Thinking just now that possibly he's not a strong whip rider I've also looked at some of his rides on More To Gain and none of those showed any inclination to use the whip behind the saddle. Something to be mindful of probably.

More to gain is actually a horse that races quite erratically so maybe wells is suited to the wayward horses I really don't know. I know Hilton Donaldson would have loved calling this horse like he did goon serpent.

No problem with the ride for mine. The horse was giving nothing.

The horse was giving nothing? What does that mean? The horse attacked the line better than anything else in the race.

Agree with both comments LOL

Island Missile (4th) was the only runner with a faster L600 and L200. 35.10/12.00 V 35.41/12.12.  Could be one to follow esp with Reith off.

Only Karavali and She Knows/Argent D'Or ran faster L600s all day.

In again Saturday and has already been backed. Barrier 12 at Rosehill doesn't fill me with much confidence to be honest.

Getting out on Lads.  No record of backing up yet but it might explain the ride soemwhat?????

Fitness over 1500m and backup are my queries so not keen at this point.

Thought it didn't give much when required in the straight last time, noticed it was back 200 metres in distance.

Maybe a little dour this time in at this stage and might relish the extra distance.

Hopefully gets away clean, I'm on.

I would agree with that. I thought the horse just plugged to the line making steady ground. To say its a little dour would be what I see as well. I was expecting a better turn of foot to be honest.

As I wrote above, she ran the fifth fastest L600 of the day, also 3rd fastest L200 - of 69 runners - so she plugged better than 95% of horses last week.
