One modern day very successful Sydney city trainer once rode the program at a provincial meeting  in the late 80's early 90's. Can you name him? WinkClap

The only qualifying trainers are Moses & Quinton so has to be one of them, I'll opt for the latter Smile

It's been a long time, I forgot I left this open ended. It was indeed Ron Quinton at Wyong.

Further to conversation, who has actually witnessed a program riding effort or close to it? Personally, at Pambula in the 1980's a local jockey Len Thompson rode 5 out of 6 races, losing the other race by a short half head. One of his winners was one of our horses, Fiery Brave, which was specifically set for the 1400m maiden. We had a good win when the local bookies would take a decent bet.

BTW Red Hunter, I have had a major scare, but I'm still here. My daughter would be mightily p***ed off if I went before she could give me my first grandchild😏😂😡

Len Thompson was the name of a legendary champion amateur fisherman, once described as the "Bradman of fishing". Lived at Tweed Heads, I think. Oddly, he rarely ate fish !

AndiCap, not sure if related but both rode in SERA district of S-E NSW in 70's and 80's.

Are you sure about that?

I can't remember Ronnie riding a card 5 winners a couple of times though.

Are you thinking of Rodney Quinn who rode 6, I am pretty sure at a provincial meeting 15 or 16 years ago?
