Im interested to hear the experts disect his pedigree, whilst I generally not a fan of grey sires, this guy always gets my attention, beautifully bred probably by a sire that will produce sires plus he's a type himself with good size, his mare numbers are ok didn't mind a few babies I have seen by him, question is could he be a sleeper, ?

Looks like he is a sleeper in the photo.

Well bred!!

Was not a good enough racehorse himself for mine which lowers your % chance of
sucess right from the get go.

Not for me either I'm afraid JL.

Breed to race only which can be a costly exercise.

Don't just listen to us (I know you won't).

As you probably know your hunch just may be correct.

Meant to say: As you probably know the breeding game is unpredictable, your hunch just may well be correct.

However I have had hunches in the past.Approve..let me see they were Rubiton, Bel Esprit, Encosta DL, Flying Spur, West Quest, Distorted Humor whom I used in his first season out of my group producing mare compliments of JB Cummings & lost her & the foal a week off her due date thanks to a very inept farm whom I entrusted her to a month earlierCry

My next Sire predictions:   Animal Kingdom, Can the Man, Jimmy Creed, Olympic Glory, Rubick & Holy Roman Emporer: Sadly most are out of my budgetConfused

I will check this list in a few years ?

Holy Roman Emperor? There is enough of his running around to no longer be a hunch isn't there?

I do like Rubick despite the critics out there and really like Olympic Glory. Wouldn't breed to the others just yet though.

Instinction is breed to race at the moment and will make it the hard way if he does. Encosta and I Am Invincible have done that so not impossible. They were better performed though.

If I can play the devil's advocate just for a second.

Your past predictions were all group1 winners I think. Instink...sion only won at listed level.

Out of your future predictions (The entire stallion roster) I like Jimmy Creed, and Rubick's Cube.

Can the Man: I don't think he Can.

Animal Kingdom: May end up back there.

Olympic Glory: Flo Jo

Holy Roman Emporer: mmm.

Only kidding.

Good stuff keep the predictions coming.

With that strike rate and a couple of good mares you would / should be in profit.

Haha that was the only problem starting again where I left off 10yr ago it a hard Ol' trek stallions are plentiful an way more than I could ever outlay so just getting back to basics an trust my instincts once again, that costs me nothing, as you all know everyone has an opinion an it's so interesting to hear different slants on things🙀

As the good North Melbourne coach Dennis Pagan used to say to his players;

Never doubt yourself (son!).

Read my post again. I questioned how you can have a hunch about a stallion that has had enough results to provide proof?
