Ok its time to Hunta Winner

Sat 5th Oct

Flemington

R/7 G1 TURNBULL STKS ~ Mr Quickie He’s a horse on the UP and I love the fact hes proven over 2500m his late sectionals firstup were outstanding in the MAKYBE allways travelling well held up until the 250m and when he got some room that 2500m engine started to KICK IN ….pace of that race was strong and should be decent again on Saturday Allen only has to navigate his way into some clean air similar to last start n hes the one I wanna be ON @ the 400m cause he’ll be LAUNCHING LATE

R/9 ~ G2 EDWARD MANIFOLD ~ Subpoenaed BIG FAN of this filly both runs @ BM70 level were excellent …. everything went against her in the TEA ROSE got caught deep pulling her head off when the tempo dropped right out of the race setting it up beautifully for those on speed ……shes scopey and has a stack of ability who’s screaming out for the 1600m and open spaces of Flemington …..BEST BET ON THE CARD

Randwick

R/7 G1 EPSOM ~ Cascadian French import with some nice form overseas only had the 6 starts all over 1400 - 1600m placed @ G1 and Listed level lumping 58kg will love the feather weight of 50kg only drawback is the gate (2) its a nitemare but @ the price hes a RIPPING BET will love being back on top of the ground and stepping up to the 1600m is ideal ... only needs some luck getting away from the rail but if he does CAN WIN !!

Ok its time to Hunta Winner

Caulfield

R/3 G3 THBRD CLUB ~ California Zimbol We know how good Loving gabby is but I dont think we’ve seen the bottom of this filly yet …..Dominant on debut before racing without luck up on QLD and I liked the way she toyed with them resuming @ Canterbury …CLASSY FILLY

R/4 G3 BSB STEAKS ~ Prophets Thumb No question how much talent this mare packing …its just her racing pattern GET BACK TYPE who draws the carpark in this …..will have to swoop late but to TALENTED to ignore e/w

R/6 G1 THOU GUINEAS ~ Flit Best horse in the race

R/7 G1 CAUL STAKES ~ Avilius Best horse in the race

R/8 G1 CAUL GUINEAS ~ The Holy One Going wide in this ……Alligator Blood had gun draw and perfect run in the Prelude and just managed to get past the front runner Roccabascerana ….from gate (13) hes got his work cut out this time around …Dalaasan no doubt will be finishing the race right off but where does he get to in the run ???? Might have to do plenty of work early if he wants to push forward or most likely drift to far back cant jump in @ the price ....This TAVISTOCK colt gets the right draw (4) likes to sit up on the speed and can run the MILE …….has that long loping action and if hes trackable in the run coming to the corner he just might be able to stretch out like he did @ Sandown 2 runs prior .....SMOKEY @ ODDS e/w * Apparently needs a vet check tomorrow before being cleared to run which doesn't look good suffering a stone bruise

Randwick

R/8 ~ G2 SILVER EAGLE ~ Fasika Like the draw (2) as she puts herself right up on the speed and the wet track no issue ……lovely filly !!

Caulfield

The Holy One * scratched*

G1 CAULFIELD GUINEAS ~ Subedar Sepoy gelding who draws a lovely gate in this (6) Rawiller only has to hold a decent position early with some cover saved for the effort …Like the way hes found the line over the 1500m and especially over the 1800m in the G3 GLOAMING … Will have absolutely no issue running a STRONG mile this horse and could find himself in a lovely stalking position coming to the corner plenty of horse power available $19.00 - $5.50 LADBORKES That price looks OVERS too me ……..

Wed 16th Oct

Warwick farm

R/7 ~ Invinciano Nice mare resuming over the 1100m who will need to jump cleanly from (1) or she might find herself cluttered up on the fence hopefully she gets enough galloping room approaching the corner so she can build the REVS …..if she can she WINS

Sat 19th Oct

Caulfield

R/5 G2 CAUL SPRINT ~ God Of Thunder His last 2 runs have been hard to watch  caught 3 and 5 deep @ Rosehill having to sustain a long run covering a SH!TLOAD of ground  then was HUGE over the 955m @ the Valley snagged back to last from the wide draw ABSOLUTELY POWERING HOME just ran out of TRACK …..GOOD HORSE just needs an ounce !! …..

R/8 G1 CAUL CUP ~ Constantinople Looks a very progressive young stayer in the making with a STACK of UPSIDE !!

R/9 (L) ALINGHI ~ Prophets Thumb Late scratching on Saturday shes also dual nominated for the G2 CAUL SPRINT ……prefer her here over the 1100m with some decent tempo so she can come with her booming finish …..

Randwick

R/? SPRING MILE ~ Cascadian Forget the EPSOM ...got pinned against the rail 14th @ the 400m on a RANDWICK BOG …..Gets back on top of the ground on Saturday and im pretty keen he’ll be SMASHING THE LINE LATE …..

Thur 24th Oct

Hawkesbury

R/5 ~ Phoenix River So You Think 4yo resuming over the 1000m think from gate (4) and starting from the chute joining the course proper with only the 1 turn to deal with he’ll be able to wind up enough and run over the top of them ….not bothered about the booking of the female (a) jockey as he claims 2kg and is clearly the horse with the most raw talent !! …..$3.40 TAB

Sat 26th Oct

Randwick

KIRKHAM PLATE ~ Close To Me 2yo I Am Invincible filly making her debut over the 1000m ….went straight into the blackbook after her 735m Randwick trial where she didn’t jump all that well settling midfield for JMAC but when he gave this filly a squeeze I liked that instant response …..pulling back that 4L margin very sharply still under a vice like grip right through the line …..will be all over the opening price !! TBD ..

(L) BRIAN CROWLEY ~ Faretti Always had BIG wraps on this 3yo colt debuted in the G2 Silver Slipper and definitely didn’t get through the SOFT7 conditions ….Got nominated and scratched from 4 races searching for decent surface and finally got that resuming over the 1100m @ Kensington putting them away with ease smashing the class record in the process….This race is much harder but this colt IMO has Group Class ability !! ...launching @ the opening price TBD …

Moonee Valley

G1 COX PLATE ~ Magic Wand Think the draw (3) brings this Galileo mare right into contention ….. like where I think she’ll be in the run right up on the speed very similar to her G1 ARTON MILLION effort ran in sharp time ……got cluttered up 1 off the fence allways travelling well and when the opening appeared moved into the race strongly off that decent tempo - gets that inside gate again that presents a very similar setup here ….Has that 2200 - 2400m scope to sustain a long run especially when they UP THE ANTE 800m from home - saving ground in that perfect trailing position - peel off their backs -  KICK on the corner - right in FIRING LINE @ a nice e/w price !! ….$15.00 - $4.50 TAB

Sat 14th Dec

Randwick

R/4 (L) INGLIS NURSERY ~ Wild Ruler 2yo Snitzel colt out of the very talented American mare Gypsy Robin making his debut over the 1000m ….Quickend nicely over the 742m @ Randwick cuddled late then a little green wanting to run about @ Gosford both trials were very good last 600s nice n sharp never out of 3rd gear …Has a stack of ability this colt draws a nice gate (1) just needs to sharpen up those manners when asked for the effort .....Thrown the Cheque - book !!

Lovely looking colt …

Sun 15th Dec

Bendigo

R/2 ~ Golden Gorge 3yo Mossman gelding out of the Flying Spur mare Flying Gigi making his debut over the 1100m …. nothing really flash about this guys breeding although Mossman over Danehill - Danzig has produced G1 winners Mossfun - Buffering and Miss Mossman ….Has had the 2 trials June last year on the Syth but more recently over the 990m on a HEAVY8 moving past the leaders nicely without being really tested …..Hes a STRONG powerful type of horse and I think the BIG Bendigo track will be ideal !! Have had a decent crack !!

Cheers Rhino Thumbs Up Lots to like about Wild Ruler he’s a colt with plenty of scope n length he’s on a Slipper - Diamond path worth keeping an eye on - Likewise Golden Gorge he’s a powerful type who moved through his gears nicely stepping up in distance I think he’ll be even more dangerous ….

1 im interested in for Wednesday .......

Wed 18th Dec

Randwick

R/? ~ Rocha Clock 3yo Pierro filly out of the G2 winning Encosta de Lago mare Rocha dual nominated over the 1400 - 1550m (BM70 races) …. Has shown good ability through her trials this filly clearly matching strides with the G3 placed Rotator prior to her debut which was excellent @ Newcastle …. didn’t jump cleanly from the wide gate and had to muster speed 4 n 5 deep to park outside the leader most horses would of folded @ the 200m but this filly still had a kick dropping the leader running home her last 600m in 33.69 and clocking 1:10.03 naturally she got tired and the swoopers closed late but she was never allowed to settle in the run niggled the whole way IT WAS A DECENT DEBUT !! Stepping up in distance shouldn’t be a problem as DAM won a Wakeful and placed in a Surround - allowed to relax in the run - this filly can only IMPROVE …..

Randwick

R/1 ~ Aeecee Power 2yo Street Boss filly out of the Fastnet Rock mare Warrington making her debut over the 1200m …..Been to the trials twice this filly over the 800 - 735m matching strides with the Godolphin filly who ran very well @ Listed level on debut and I really liked the way she quickened in her most recent …..sitting off them and when the gap appeared Collett just gave her a squeeze and this filly went woooooshka last 600m in 33.80 still under a nice firm hold !! $6.00 TAB …….

Thur 26th Dec

Caulfield

R/2 ~ St Joeys 3yo Fighting Sun gelding who debuted over an unsuitable 975m @ BIG odds never got warm …….had a 25week layoff returning over the 1200m an absolutely romped in running a sub 11s last 200m ….then stepped up to BM70 level (1400m) @ Flemington and from the 400m just couldn’t work into the race …..got caught behind a wall of horses - no galloping room - Yendall shifting ground angling off there backs it arguably cost him the race - Sticks to the 1400m here and Im keen to see him get some daylight so he can STRETCH right out ……. currently $4.20 LADBROKES ...

Wed 1st Jan

Randwick

R/1 ~ Parakeet Will be interesting to see how Kermadec shapes up as a sire I like the look of his 2yo filly out of the mare Shouts (who produced the Darley Stallion and G1 winner Holler) nominated over the 1100m on Wed - She has abit of scope/size about her this filly and has trialed twice over the 800 - 1045m - she looked good over the 800m especially with some TEMPO in the trial peeling to the outside moving sharply up alongside the leaders packing plenty of horse power through the line …….They practically walked early in her next over the 1045m a total sit and sprint affair Berry only asking her for the effort (final 300m) and the response was there late in the piece …..with some decent tempo think this filly can just sit off them and RESPOND when the heats applied !! …..$3.50 TAB

Tues 7th Jan

Kembla Grange

R/5 ~ Bound To Win Nothing went right for this 3yo Sebring filly on debut ….missed the kick and just never travelled well for Clark who never got the chance to pull the trigger …practically pulling her up soon after straightening TOTAL FORGIVE RUN !! Her trials prior were very good and has returned ridden quietly over the 1045 - 1000m clicked up late really swallowing up the line …Liked the way she resumed over the 1150m @ BEAU just stalking the leaders excellerating away for a soft win - steps up to the 1200m - up in grade - from a widish gate (9) Think she’ll be to CLASSY and get the job done !! …. $3.00 LADBROKES …… Thrown the Cheque - Book

Gosford Friday OR Randwick Saturday

R/? ~ Tailleur 3yo Shooting To Win filly making her debut either @ Gosford FRI or Randwick SAT …will be interesting where she goes as both races look very competitive especially on SAT (should open a nice price) ….Shes been to the trials 4 times over the 800 - 900m and Ive liked the way shes never been REDLINED while matching strides or out galloping everything around her - last 600s all sub 35s allways travelling sweetly never out of 3rd gear - Her most recent breezing past the Hawkes filly Valdostana who’s been well backed @ WF tomorrow and the Waller filly April Thunder who ran 3rd in town on debut - am curious to see what this fillys packing when the heats applied and the brakes fully released …… She looks a HANDY type !! TBD

Sat 11th Jan

Gold Coast

MM 2YO CLASSIC ~ Wisdom Of Water Dont think theres any A graders in this race overall times - sectionals look all pretty average to me so prepared to go wide and have a crack @ this 2yo Headwater colt who’s showed good ability @ the trials spacing them by BIG margins (5-7) lengths prior to his debut in which he pulled up with shin soreness - Returned after a 2 month layoff again looking sharp trialing @ Doomben and this time brought that to racetrack ….settiling midfield showing a nice turn of foot especially between the 400 - 100m dropping off Conceited who closed late last 100m he started to flatline a little but that excelleration burst won him the race - Stepping up to the 1200m from the good draw (7) hopefully can land in a decent possy with some cover and with further improvement 2nd up (fitter) put himself right in the MIX that last 400m @ a decent price ......... $17.00 - $5.00 TAB e/w

Warwick Farm Wednesday OR Gosford Thursday

R/? ~ Art Of Light All To Hard 3yo filly who’s dual nominated over the 1400m WED - 1600 THUR (which I think is the much better option) - She trialed over the 800m @ Hawkesbury looking very flatfooted n started @ HUGE odds ($41.00) over the 1200m on debut …..pace of that race was decent and @ the 600m she looked absolutely GONE under hard riding ZERO response !! It wasn’t until the 400m she started to move through her gears pulling good ground late ….The 1400m @ Warwick Farm looks way to rich for her in my book 1600m THUR has to be the way to GO - Shes out of the unraced American mare Flavin with a good mix of speed n stamina in the pedigree (sired by Dynaformer) who produced the 2006 Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro - curious to see how this filly shapes up especially over the 1600m !! ………. TBD

*If anyone can find those sectional times Canberra 27th Dec would be much appreciated had a quick look on the NET without luck curious what her last 400 - 200m splits were *

Cheers !! ….
