StarA freak. Led easy and never given a breather to win on a day where the swoopers have been knocking off hot pots.
Good to see Lloyd take her to the middle of the track on straightening.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left

Told by Glen just before the start of today's MM race...the EDMONDS lodged the naming of the horse by phone
and the phoned auto-corrected the name DOUTZEN (lodged) to HOUTZEN and they were ko'd by the resultant name.

Well Glen and THE EDMONDS

I can tell why the name DOUTZEN didn't go through (Doutzen being the spectacular model)

because there was already a DOUTZEN...well named  and trained by GWENDA MARKWELL

She is not always going to be in hard run races where she has to go hammer and tong all the way, I suspect she will be far more than just s a sprinter. She reminds me a great deal of Stylish Century.

Marvelous win.

But have a let-up and get up again for the Slipper?  It's a hard ask, remembering Unencumbered amongst others over recent years.

She's had 3 race for 3 wins. Slipper should be on the agenda with one lead up run only required. She will be in the Slipper at her 5th start, by no means burnt out, unlike Unencumbered who had at least half a dozen starts by the time he won the MM.

This filly is a beauty. That speed to jump and cross today was phenomenal.

Racing style and the stamina in her pedigree.

Not sure if people remember Stylish Century as a 2yo but boy oh boy he was a flying machine at about this time of the season. He also won a 2yo sales race on the Gold Coast.

I can see her using her electrifying speed at the beginning of her races, having a rest mid race before exploding again in the straight as a 3yo, at least in the 3yo spring races in Sydney.

You would think Trainers know better but I reckon they jumped the gun in not giving Capitalist more of a go last spring. He showed last Autumn he needed the run when resuming before his Slipper win.

I think they took the easy way out with their expensive investment.

It was not as if Capitalist ran poorly in either race.
