Racenet article suggested she may not even start. Trial was okay, not anything you'd expect an article about so presumably there's more to their opinion than that. I'd be more interested if it was Waller saying she didn't know how good she is.

Trial ordinary. Snicki Minaj will run very well Saturday, but will struggle assuming she doesn't draw a similar gate in the big race.

From what I remember, last start winners, leading into this race,  have a huge success rate, but someone with a database could confirm the stats on that.

I don't normally bet on this type of race but I've invested heavily on Ef Troop. I just think he's clearly the best 2yo. I haven't priced the race but I think I'd have him around $2.50. The filly Sunlight is my second pick. Jonker has a chance, but overrated imo.

Trainer hasn't been as excited about a horse since his two good Booms. Only thing I'd say is that the form behind him isn't great.

Anyone have a link to his jumpout at EF today?

The form behind him is just fine. He beat Crockett by 5.3 lengths and Crockett was a very impressive Adelaide winner on debut. Yes he failed last start, but his trainer said he got all worked up and coltish and didn't do his best. The horse that ran 3rd behind Ef Troop, beaten 12 lengths, came out next start and was beaten only 2.1 at Randwick.

His times were also sensational. He ran 0.37 faster time than the fillies race, even though his first 500m was run much slower. His last 600m was actually much faster than the listed open handicap for older horses on the same day.

I’m hoping Soul Star’s family member “Sunlight” can salute.

Barrier a bit of a hindrance however a very classy filly who is right in this!

Knowing and winning at the track with an undefeated record is a definite advantage ....

Very hard lining up the form this year. Really liked the way Meryl ran through the line last start after needing to switch off heels at the 200. Good each way value too.
