Sacked from the McEvoy yard.

Who are the trainers she has had since ?

She is still a valuable breeding proposition.

Too many nicely bred mares in Australia end up in the wrong hands.

Clearly no patience was shown by Adelaide's premier trainer.

Another impressive win today.

So You Think has two good rising 3yo colts to go into battle for him next season.

He's had a good season just making it to 100 winners.  Did you see he had a daughter pick up a LR in France over 2800m this week.

Also Peltzer is from the old Mill Reef/Pipe of Peace family so you'd think eventually he'd go out over a trip.

You can't blame High Chaparral.  None of the first three filly foals ran well.  THe More than Ready is up in Darwin finishing last.  But you also can't blame the breeder they are putting her to good stallions.  It really makes you wonder how this boy made $260,000 as a yearling with the poor showings from the first few foals.  He's obviously got all the good genes but there must of been plenty of bad ones for the others to be such failures.  Either that or this is a colt family with the fillies only worth anything at stud.

I always like to see that Never Bend / Bold Reason mix also.  But that would have been in the High Chaparral filly.  It's worked here that is for sure.

What was the name of the winner, the date and the name of the race? I assume it was a handicap? I ask these questions because I keep a list of all of So You Thinks stakes/black tyoe (Group/Listed) wins as a sire.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Jamal,

The SYT winner in France last week was a 4yo mare called Think of Me.

The race was 2800m Listed at Deauville called the Prix Gold River. Named after Gold River who won the 1981 Arc De Triopmphe when ridden by Aussie born jockey Gary Moore.
