Sad news of the passing of Mike Wiilesee.
Mike ventured heavily into the bloodstock world through his Transmedia Park. He was one of the first to bring in South American imports to race as well, with mixed success.
Not sure if he had recent involvement in the industry still or not, perhaps others would know.

He certainly had a long and illustrious career as a television journalist.

Great Man .. Sad day   Rip Mike.

Google.
The Trevor King Stories are never ending , mostly good . I remember Trevor visiting his brother in a Parramatta Hospital. Tragic family story of alcohol abuse , broken marriage by the brother. But Trevor always "stuck".
Later I had the pleasure to be a small part of Trevor Kings , This Is Your Life appearance with Mike Willisee.
about 1975 . Trev and wife Judy were tireless workers for the victims of life's scurges, Chemical abuse.
As a boxer Trevor's record hasn't been bettered in Australia . 60 bouts 1 loss ( later winning the return bout ).
Still going OK near Windsor NSW aged 87.
FWIW.. Trevor King always said Ron Beekin was a world champion Boxer who fell victim to alcohol . That's hi praise from a man who probably has the best boxing record of any Australian. Bless Trevor.
