When asked where the horse would go to next, Weir gave his usual "I don't know" answer.

But reading between the lines, and looking at the futures markets, he won't be going to the Gold Coast. He's currently priced at $26 so obviously the books know he's not going there. He'd be favourite if he was.

Weir gave the impression he'd be looking to go up in trip again. 2000 metres.

I agree. The ride was absolutely shocking, May have won with a bit more skill.
