This will come as a shock to the mini mes ... I don't think Waleed and The Project have reported on this yet ... maybe soon?
Father of two Muslims accused of plotting a terrorist massacre in Melbourne 'called for Sharia law to be imposed'
The father of two men accused of plotting a terror attack previously called for Sharia law to be imposed in Turkey. Armagan Eriklioglu, the father of accused terror plotters Ertunc and Samed Eriklioglu, allegedly posted several incendiary messages on social media in 2014. Among the series of Turkish-language messages were comments that allegedly promoted global conflict between Islam and the West, The Australian reported. Mr Eriklioglu (pictured centre) recently came to the defence of his sons, Samed (pictured left) and Ertunc (pictured right), and denied a family happy snap showing himself and his son displaying a distinctive one-fingered hand gesture was the salute of ISIS 'As long as Muslims continue fighting each other, obituaries and sorrowful songs will be in Kurdish, Turkish and Arabic and joyful songs will be in English and Hebrew,' one Facebook message allegedly stated. The father posted several photos at the peak of the Syrian conflict - one of which allegedly urged Muslims to go against any law that challenged the Muslim faith. 'We will obey whatever religion of Islam says, even if it is a crime,' the accompanying caption in the Facebook message stated. Another image allegedly showed a crusader with a US, NATO and UN symbols, along with the words 'Stupid Muslims, keep on sleeping'. Mr Eriklioglu purportedly posted a Facebook message that was directed towards President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey about his stance on Sharia law. 'The time you stop, waste is a bad deed, we demand that you bring sharia,' he allegedly wrote at the time. Deakin University professor Ihsan Yilmaz, who has been researching the radicalisation of Turkish diaspora in Western nations' said Mr Eriklioglu's comments suggest a 'deep immersion in Turkish politics'. Mr Yilmaz said there is a potentially dangerous new development emerging as the Erdogan government abandons secularism in favour of a forced Islamist stance. He said Mr Eriklioglu has repeatedly wrote about how Mr Erdogan - who has been accused of passively supporting Islamic State fighters - should lead the world. +3 Mr Yilmaz said Mr Eriklioglu has repeatedly wrote about how President Erdogan - who has been accused of passively supporting Islamic State fighters - should lead the world One of Mr Eriklioglu's Facebook posts allegedly also included a link to a Turkish-language ISIS propganda page. News of the incendiary messages comes after Mr Eriklioglu came to the defence of his sons and denied a family happy snap showing himself and his son displaying a distinctive one-fingered hand gesture was an ISIS salute. Mr Eriklioglu said the gesture was commonly used by Muslims long before it was hijacked by the terrorist organisation. 'No no. That's not an ISIS salute. It means one creator. Everyone does that. We don't know anything about a ISIS salute. Nothing at all. Not us. No way,' he said. 'All we know is from hadith, prophet Muhammad done that 1 finger,' he later clarified via text. 'You can read hadiths about it. So ISIS has been around few years. That flag finger don't belong to those idiots. We have been around more than 1440 years. Whoever made ISIS, they're showing Islam bad.' The gesture was widely adopted by the Islamic militants as a propganda symbol for their cause. The photo was among a bundle of family happy snaps provided to Daily Mail Australia by Mr Eriklioglu during a visit to his Campbellfield home on Wednesday. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6415865/Father-men-accused-plotting-terror-attack-previously-called-Sharia-law-imposed.html?fbclid=IwAR3ioUktcvwBcph-CP-p2VSFc8Alk9zx1PqdZdRq4iimNRg8RAOQxQDYvGg |

What sort of ''law'' do they currently have in Turkey?
From high-ranking military officials to university professors, those imprisoned since the attempted coup now total 70,756 - although some have been released In a part of the world where state security prisoners are a state secret, Turkey has been dribbling out the figures of the tens of thousands of soldiers, cops, judges, prosecutors, academics and others arrested after the attempted coup of 15 July. From leaks to local journalists and occasional bulletins by the government, the nearest statistic for the total number of Turks imprisoned – even for a few weeks – now comes to a grand (and shocking) total of 70,756. Any Arab state would arrest a citizen who merely uttered such figures – but these revelations are now part of the government’s propaganda war in Turkey. You know nothing yet, the authorities are telling their people – just look at the figures! The plot was larger than even you believed! Whether the public do believe this, they must surely know the arrests will continue. The most striking figure shows how deeply the government of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has struck at the heart of the military, supposedly the guardian of the Turkish state since Mustafa Kamal Ataturk founded the nation after the First World War. The numbers show that an astounding 7,028 members of the Turkish armed forces have now been arrested. These include 164 generals and admirals, 287 colonels, 222 lieutenant colonels, 351 majors, 471 captains, and 1,091 lieutenants. And this, remember, is the largest army in Nato. |

This week it emerged that Fethullah Gulan the Turkish cleric that Erdogan blamed for the ''failed coup'' a 13 year resident of Pennsylvania that Mike Flynn was planning to kidnap and hand over for $15m, was last week offered up by the Trump administration in exchange for Turkey dropping their pursuit of Mohammad Bone Saws despicable act of ordering a WaPo journalist to be tortured and executed.
All the best corrupt people Following the revelation last week by NBC News that the administration was weighing whether to extradite Islamic cleric Fethullah Gulen to Turkey, President Trump said on Saturday that he wasn’t considering it. For now. “No, it’s not under consideration,” Trump told reporters. While he was prepared to do whatever he could for Turkey, “at this point” the administration would not be sending Gulen back to the country he left voluntarily in 1999. Why was the White House even talking about Gulen, who has been living peacefully, and legally, in Pennsylvania? The killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi , which occured at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, has handed Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan powerful leverage with both Saudi Arabia and the United States, and there are well-grounded fears that he’s using that leverage to try to achieve his longstanding goal of seizing Gulen. The steady trickle of more... |

I’m not as confident as you. He steadfastly refuses to tell us how much he loses in the property investment example. Do you think it’s because he doesn’t understand it, or because the example using his assumptions makes him look very, very stoopid |

Had a friend who jumped between Real Estate & the Stock Exchange .
Did well but I wasn't educated or skilled enough to venture into Stocks. My family ( who didn't have shoes for school most times in rearing ) Did well over time , having purchased Freehold Businesses Some in / or near the main Street of Orange NSW 2800.. (Service Station, Naughton's On The Highway, Summer st./ Hill St car wash , Delicatessa opposite St Mary's Church)etc The capital gain STAGGERING tens of millions... That's Luck I accept , but vindicates the Doc approach. |

Poor rusty has a real need to prove something, but he just aint proving anything with his irrelevant questions - just nothing to do with the conversation, which is, how much will the ALP's poorly thought out Property Tax changes damage the wealth of the nation.
I know what his question is, and the answer is simple, between 7% and 30% ... but it has nothing to do with the context? I wish he would repeat the question, and clarify the relevance ...

I don’t make judgements about people based on what they own,or what they earn. However, when big mouthed blowhards get on here and sprout how successful they are, when their disclosures of success are clearly fantasies, I’ll call them out. I think it was who Judge made a very good point. Dummy says he’s very successful, says he lives in Bankstown, says he hates it there. We all move to better places as our financial position improves, except this bloke...... #Fantasist It’s amusing that you enjoy the Dummy’s posts, but object when that style is used against him. |

Rusty... Must admit , re financial positions ...
I'm the first to admit my generation were born in Lucky times and profited ( unfortunately ) with the post war situation in Real Estate. I stuffed up so badly so many times through not having the real know how , but "luck" had it that way , it was still forward march. I only give some detail , to stop accusations of lies . Not Bragging as opportunities we had were just the times ... I should be ashamed rather than bragging . I drank 2 cities. |

Wrong thread but I think my "generation" were about the luckiest. Getting into the market after the 17% interest rates of the early 90s and just before the madness around 2000. Speak to a lot of Uni aged kids and try to avoid telling them what prices were like, not very long ago. Doesn't seem fair- dumb historical luck. For a lot of people who've bought in the last few years, a lot of pain ahead.

Oh Dummy you don’t understand the context? If an investor makes 30% profit then they aren’t losing any money are they? Certainly not worthy of the pink ink you’ve sprayed all over the joint in your hysteria. |
