The weights will have EDUARDO as near unbeatable but I'm really keen on BON'S AWAY 3rd up. Should be enough pace on with a few out and 1 or 2 in that'll push up. Should be 3 pairs back and on the back of something that will bring him into the race at the right time.
He's my main bet for the weekend at the $6.50 & Kerrin on board... giddy up!

Stewards might have to step in if Chrisso & co are going to insist on sending Fuhryk around at this level.

Is John Allen up to the task of getting Extra Brut home on Saturday ?

If this was Flemington he'd be Winx odds to win, But at Caulfield things become awkward.

The Coongy looks an ideal race for Best Of Days. He should love 2000m. I think he has a couple of lengths on this field.

Interesting that this morning he accepted for a 1600m $200k race at Cranbourne on Sunday.
May not be going to Caulfield?

You could be right GA.

However I've backed Prized Icon, maybe for the first and last time, if only because he was absolutely slaughtered by Oliver last start (and who's unsurprisingly been given the @rse).

I thought that the Alinghi Stakes was a great race to have a bet in.

Caulfield's one of them tracks that seems to undo many a NSW horse. SOOTHING's the best horse in the race but I'm not sure what they're doing here. He dead set didn't handle the track and doubt anything will change on Saturday.
FROM WITHIN is way too short. I couldn't back it unless it was 5-1.
It looks like GREY SHADOW"s race. Should get the back of FROM WITHIN and prove too classy. She's a mare going places and as any 1/2 decent punter knows, always back a mare that's in form.
Think the danger is NIETA, especially if there's any weather about, even if there's not she's a very good each way prospect at $13. I've had a bit each way but loading up on GREY SHADOW.

Sixties Groove has been given a 1.5kg penalty for tomorrow’s Coongy.
Won the Moe Cup yesterday.
Weir stable yet to make decision on whether horse runs tomorrow.

Won't have to worry now. Scratched. Did you a favour anyway with Bowman on.

Race 2 Caulfield there's an early scratching today and TAB fixed prices are shortened accordingly.

But later on every single entry is tightened yet again.  Never seen 11 shorteners before in a pre-post.  Confused

If you are talking about all runners shortening after 8pm that would be correct as apparently they are having an "early bird" special with 110% markets on Fridays until 8pm.

Thanks mate.

Unfortunately they've all shortened again since 8pm.

Gee I think MISS LEONIDAS was about 20-1 when markets first opened... Think she'll probably start 4-1 come start time.
Massive go but still thinking that there's enough pace on to see BONS AWAY getting over the top of them. Even QUILISTA's a massive chance.
Fav is way too short for mine.
