Walked away unscathed. Same couldn’t be said about the horse though.
Who caused it?

Good news about Mitch. Shame for connections of the horse. Hope the jockey that caused it is sued by the owners.

Mr Bodecker On jumping away shifted out making contact with the outside of the barrier and losing ground. Near the 900m when racing in restricted room between Kings Hand which was racing greenly and Flirtdeus accidentally clipped the heels of Kings Hand, fell and dislodged apprentice rider Mitchell Aitken. After taking evidence from all riders concerned Stewards could not attribute this incident to any one horse or rider, therefore deemed it to be an accidental racing incident and notified all riders involved to do their utmost to protect fellow riders when in similar circumstances. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed the horse to have a cut in its mouth and a small laceration to its near fore elbow. Trainer Shaun Dwyer was notified that prior to racing again he must be in receipt of a veterinary certificate of soundness

Unfortunate news. Mitch has a suspected broken ankle after an incident at Warrnambool in Race 1 today. Horse played up in the barriers
