Oohood is accepted for the Caulfield Guineas rather than the Thousand Guineas on the same card.

The last filly to win the Guineas against the boys was Surround 42 years ago.

I know a few who think the females are better as a group than the males, as evidenced by last weeks triumph by Maid Of Heaven in the Spring Champion, Tontonan.

If you take TAS out of this field, it a winnable race for her.

Runs in the Surround Stakes this weekend over 1400m

If she runs well, looks like she will head to Dubai for a Group 1 1800m race on March 30.

McEvoy wants to see her in form on Sat or else she won’t go.
