Rich Enuff – suffered a bleeding attack. Co-trainer Mr Paul Snowden was advised that the horse will be barred from racing for a period of three months and must trial before the Stewards prior to racing again.

Les Carlyon's book "True Grit" states that the breeder of Musket, the sire of Carbine[and down through the ages, Nasrullah and Northern Dancer] had wanted to shoot the stallion because his sire was a bleeder and the grandsire a roarer.
Just putting this out there when someone pipes up and says shouldnt breed from a bleeder. ts been happening forever

Off to stud young horse. Stakes winner and Caulfield Guineas placed is good enough for a couple of seasons at $4k a pop.

You're right, I still don't really blame Snowden for this LOL

I think this may take a little of the blame off Ken Keys, he obviously did an ordinary job but the horse was a little overrated.

How do you blame Ken Keys? He was the one  who got the group races for the connections. When you look at his record it was a mistake to persevere in the second prep but that was probably the greed of the connections wanting to get the group one, to look good on his resume and to  future clients.
Snowden devastated........pleeeeeeeeeese
Talk about sales blurb.............I like the horse anyway but i suppose he'll be cheaper nowWink boo hoo for the connectionsCry

Wasn't Ken Keys one of the main stake holders in the horse?

Until Woodside bought in, who wanted to stand him as a group one stallion. Then the rot set in. Can see why studs like to retire stallions early.

It's a filly so the stakes aren't as high but if it's that good why wouldn't you?
