They go to the best stallions though so how can you make a fair comparison?
You'd think if you sent a high class mare to a champion stallion you'd get a lot more success from them than we currently see from them.

Not so when the matings are based on offspring saleability instead of compatability. Fortunately the big commercial enterprises are now aiming for the best of both & therefore far more selective than they once were.
