So unfair when all the evidence is saying the same thing...Individual 1 is a crook. Sloppy Steve Bannon on his podcast today on Lev Parnas. He is not credible he is a liar and an indicred criminal. Presumably why Rudy/Trump were paying him so much to dig up dirt on Biden in Ukraine and why that idiot criminal who is suing a cow, Nunes gave him his personal cell phone number and got caught communicating with him. Tried to lie but Schiff released details of Lev calling Nunes on his personal phone. Went from denying he knew who Lev was a fortnight ago on Fox to having to admit he was caught red handed...so dumb.

What witnesses could the Republicans come up with that would support Trump's version of events? Since Trump has been desperate to keep all those directly involved from being questioned, presumably because they won't help.

Republicans have a real problem here with investigations court filings for testimony and evidence continuing to the election, and the rate Trump's criminality is emerging, how can they hang on to him by acquitting and survive themselves?

All of the cases Trump has been trying to push out to SCOTUS will mostly be settled in July when they put out a heap of rulings. Most Trump loses in the shadow of the election.

Hey Doc, the Lev interview on MSNBC last week was the highest rating hour in the history of cable TV. People want to hear from Lev. McConnell blocking him will be a big mistake. PS Barr better hurry up and get him in prison or better still have him come down with a terminal case of Ten Story-itis that Trump/Barr's Russian bosses specialize in. Lev has receipts and is a danger to these crooks.

Today Lev's lawyer calling for Barr to recuse himself from anything to do with Lev and Ukraine because he is up to his tiny nuts in it. Also Lev is afraid that he and his family will have harm done to them if Barr is not removed now. He reported last week that when arrested it was 2 Trump lawyers that turned up to defend him, which he was pleased about, but then realised they wanted him to cop to everything and go to prison for Trump/Rudy/Barr. He ditched them and has now gone on the offensive. Unfortunately for the crime team, Lev kept meticulous notes and retained every piece of data or evidence, which Barr had seized and held till he got 2 courts to order their release. |

Pence and Mother are absolute fake Christian wowsers. Mikey isn't allowed to be alone with a woman. For Lev to be holding Mother's hand suggests a little more than a photo bomb. Trump says he doesn't know Lev, who he is what he does. He said it stuttering and spluttering 12 times in 2 minutes last week. Funny that, Lev has been photographed at all sorts of events with Trump, seated next to Trump. attending family birthdays...sounds pretty familiar to me. Fun fact: Trump has known Lev for 30 years and Lev in fact worked for Trump and Trump's father Fred in their small real estate business, Lev selling properties for/with them. I remember Trump hardly remembering Manafort, George Papa, and Michael Cohen as well.

This was never going to be a proper trial and Trump was never going to be removed from office. His Attorney General has been involved up to his ears in his crimes, and has effected the cover ups, so there is no actual recourse, except removal at the next election. This process is a political process but Nancy Schiff and Schumer have masterfully managed this process to place a spotlight on all of Trump's corrupt behaviour. When this started there was 35% approval for impeachment, now there is 51% for not only impeachment but also removal. There is 70% want witnesses, 57% think Trump is guilty as charged. The trial begins on Wednesday but already Trump's people have shown what they are there for, repeating Trump's rubbish tweets and Fox talking points, they have already been called out for multiple lies. The 35% are loving it but everyone else is seeing what the corrupt crapshow Presidency is all about. |

I think they just turned up today expecting for things to roll through a week or so of talking points and lies, and got ambushed by a very well prepared Democrat team with a clear plan that they surgically executed.
Couldn't believe the clearly provable lies they told. All were rebutted and stuff got heated to the point where CJ John Roberts called a halt to it.

Adam Schiff picks up in the actual start of the trial where Democrats left off at the end of the 13 hour marathon rules debate yesterday. Dems brilliant strategy of making every statement effectively a trial closing argument destroyed the Trump allies lies yesterday and means they have to come up with something better than Shifty Schitty Schiff and corrupt Dems process. I wonder if they will ever come up with an actual defense? Poor Sean was left shattered yesterday reportedly not even filing a report for Fox, it all went so bad. Nadler now carrying on the same, every statement a closing statement clearly laying out the facts. If at some time as was expected McConnell on orders from Trump calls for a motion to dismiss, Dems have laid out their case dozens of times and Trump's Fox News defense team just quoting Trump's bizarre catalogue of tweets.
