I haven't asked anyone else - since you seem to think that the current growth rate is 10% and you think the average growth rate for residential property in Sydney since 1970 is more than 10% p.a., I don't need to go anywhere else for a stupid answer - you have it covered in spades once again!Embarrassed

Now before the minions start running with your bullgelati, how about you research that and correct it ...

So the punishers and straighteners want to drug test Newstart recipients not pay them more. Would you have expected any less out of this lot?

But how would you do it these days? They have gone to a great deal of trouble to ensure that everything is done electronically. Is there going to be a flying squad of Centrelink drug testers?

We sure get some laughs .
Will cost more to do the drug tests than pay the dole money.

Saw another hilarious suggestion todat ...   Chemical Castration.

Reads well , doesn't really work & one hell of a job to get the affected person to willingly take the medication, sometimes numerous times a day .

Thank goodness sanity prevails.  Mirabella was an Army lightweight at best and now a Liberal back-room numbers man.  Even worse he's another of your extreme far-right would-be if he could be's.  And even worse still he takes an ever subordinate position with Sophie whether it's in terms of opinion or possie in the domestic sack.

The thread needs a lift .

I did note PT is aware , that COLES does more for the aged & infirm by way of their free grocery deliveries,   Than our Government does with it's
assistance package , ( with a 24 month waiting list ).

How Fkn brainless are Government, to offer assistance to the suffering group, struggling to live their final days at home , knowing most won't live 24 months.

What a feckless shambles the Coalition is.  Not a cent for infrastructure, just (un)steady as you go with Scomo happy top down pints and pies:

Ken Henry excoriates politicians, warns future jobs at risk

Australian politicians are failing the nation by ignoring the advice of experts, former Treasury secretary Ken Henry has claimed, warning large numbers of people could miss out on a job because of their deliberate ignorance.

In excoriating comments to a small gathering of MPs and social scientists in Canberra on Tuesday, Dr Henry said governments were claiming success for policies that had not fixed the problem they were developed to confront.

Dr Henry, speaking in front of a group that included Australia's chief scientist Alan Finkel and adjunct professor Sue Richardson, said there were a string of "catastrophic" policy failings facing the country that could deprive a large proportion of people the opportunity to work.

He listed a string of policy failures including Australia's "truly terrible" broadband service, the deterioration in housing affordability and "extraordinary" low rates of productivity growth that had underpinned "stagnant real wages for several years".

Dr Henry also cited poor quality infrastructure that had led to congested major cities unable to deal with the fastest population growth in the developed world and wide-scale cases of environmental degradation including the "unsustainable and environmentally damaging water usage in the Murray-Darling basin".

He said government had claimed to have fixed many of these problems when the truth was the opposite.

It's ok, he won't be there much longer ... the blackouts are coming to Victoria!Embarrassed

The saddest part will be all of the Teslas abandoned outside Coffee Shops in Brunswick and St Kilda and East Melbourne.Unhappy

Gladys is a proud Oztralian and she would never forget anything.
She is a very smart lady. She would never forget anything.
Maybe 5 or 10 years of her life, but apart from that it’s all crystal clear.

Even ASIO warned the govt.
Lieberal Party...we are entitled above the law Libs, that stuff doesn't apply to us.

Gladys Liu's association with Chinese figures who were deemed a security risk was the subject of an ASIO investigation even before she entered Parliament or became a Liberal Party candidate.

Key points:

  • Gladys Liu organised a "meet and greet" for a Malcolm Turnbull visit to Melbourne in 2018
  • ASIO vetted the guest list at the request of the then-prime minister's office
  • Advice from the nation's spy chief was Mr Turnbull should not attend the meeting

The ABC understands ASIO Director-General Duncan Lewis advised that then-prime minister Malcolm Turnbull, based on the guest list, should not attend a "meet and greet" organised by Ms Liu in the Victorian electorate of Chisholm for Chinese New Year in February 2018.

At the time, Julia Banks was the Liberal MP for the eastern Melbourne seat and Ms Liu was active in Chisholm Liberal Party circles.

Ms Liu had already earned a reputation as a supreme fundraiser.

In the wake of the Sam Dastyari affair the year before, Mr Turnbull's office had developed a standard procedure to request the guest list for fundraisers or major organised events where the PM was invited.

About three or four weeks before the February 18 "meet and greet" in Box Hill, Mr Turnbull's office asked for a guestlist from Ms Banks's office.

It duly arrived on an A4 sheet of paper with about 30 names from the Chinese community.

This list was then forwarded to ASIO for vetting.

The advice from the Director-General was that Mr Turnbull should not attend the meeting.

The ABC understands Mr Turnbull was not directly told of Mr Lewis's advice. Instead, Mr Turnbull attended Chinese New Year celebrations in inner Melbourne alongside Ms Banks, one of his loyalists.

After the leadership coup that saw Mr Turnbull ousted in August 2018, Ms Banks said she would not recontest the federal election for the Liberal Party in Chisholm.

Three months later, Ms Banks quit the Liberal Party altogether, putting the Morrison Government further into minority status.

Ms Liu won Liberal preselection in late October.

Hey Doc, this cant be right. Shocked

The same Chinese billionaire that paid Sam $1300 paid the Liberal Party tens of thousands of dollars for Sam to put him in touch with Dutton to fast track citizenship for his wife and daughter.

Turnbull demands Dutton explain dealings with Chinese billionaire

Malcolm Turnbull is calling for Peter Dutton to explain himself, following reports that a Chinese billionaire, who was seeking a passport, paid a Liberal lobbyist tens of thousands of dollars to secure a private meeting with the then Immigration Minister. more...

Deary me, our Prime Embarrassment Scomotose says Labor is being racist wanting to know what a Chinese Communist Party member is doing in the Liberal Party.

Was it racist when they were chasing Sam out the door?

Anyway we know what she is doing there, cashing up the LN/NPC-China Party.

Gladys Liu's Beijing confession deepens dispute over loyalty

Liberal backbencher Gladys Liu has admitted she was a member of a Chinese government propaganda unit in a sudden shift in position that has deepened a dispute over her loyalty to Australia.

The federal government has closed ranks around the first-term Victorian MP, dismissing allegations of her links to Beijing as "offensive" as it was forced to mop up a disastrous television appearance where she could not answer questions over her ties to Beijing.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison is facing calls from the opposition and cross bench to reassure the public that Ms Liu is a "fit and proper" person to be in Parliament, including questions about whether the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation should check on any links to the Chinese government.

Having previously denied any association, Ms Liu confirmed she was an honorary member of the Guangdong provincial chapter of the China Overseas Exchange Association between 2003 and 2015.

At that time the association was an arm of the Chinese government's central political and administrative body.

But the Hong Kong-born MP said people must not see "everything I do through the lens of my birthplace".

"I hope that they will see more than just the first Chinese woman elected to Parliament," Ms Liu said in a statement.

"I am a proud Australian, passionately committed to serving the people of Chisholm, and any suggestion contrary to this is deeply offensive."

She said she was now auditing any organisations who list her as a member without her knowledge or consent, saying some Chinese associations had appointed people to honorary positions without their permission.

"I do not wish my name to be used in any of these associations and I ask them to stop using my name," Ms Liu said. more...
