Isaac you are not the only person here. Three are on my case. You should expand your view outside your little all about me insular view. Just a thought.

"all about me"..
ICAC hears billionaire told MP he would deliver cash to Labor bossChinese billionaire Huang Xiangmo allegedly told a state MP he was happy to deliver a bag of cash to the state Labor boss during a 2015 fundraising dinner at the centre of a corruption inquiry. Former NSW MP Ernest Wong on Monday told the Independent Commission Against Corruption that the billionaire property developer had told him at the end of a March 12 dinner that he would hand-deliver the cash proceeds to Labor's headquarters."Here was the alleged billionaire offering to do a delivery run with a bag of cash," ICAC chief commissioner Peter Hall said, before asking Mr Wong if that struck him as unusual. "Not at all," Mr Wong replied.https://www.watoday.com.au/national/nsw/icac-hears-billionaire-told-mp-he-would-deliver-cash-to-labor-boss-20190902-p52n1f.html |

I haven't asked them though if they would take Bitcoin or direct transfers from my Cayman Island accounts though. Is that how your Lib mob pay? I should check the Panama Papers for some helpful tips on how to do it properly

Is this the top end of town Labor are worried about?
Paul Keating, Peta Credlin and Liberty Sanger among buyers in East Melbourne apartment ‘tower of power’Former prime minister Paul Keating, political commentator Peta Credlin and high-profile lawyer Liberty Sanger have been revealed as buyers in a new East Melbourne luxury apartment building. Set to become a new “tower of power”, The Eastbourne on the edge of the Fitzroy Gardens will be home to a who’s who of the city. As well as the political class, business identities and the legal fraternity are well represented among the purchasers. With hotel-style amenities, the Bates Smart-designed block will include a pool, spa, steam room, gym, yoga-pilates room, 24-hour concierge, private lounge, wine cellar, bookable dining room, theatre room and business centre. Residences were sold off the plan from 2016 and are now starting to settle as the homes are completed.Mr Keating paid $1,019,050 for his apartment, public records show. The purchase was registered to his Sydney office address. But the home will be an investment property for the Sydney-based former Labor prime minister, so he is unlikely to be borrowing a cup of sugar from his more conservative neighbours. Sky News commentator and former chief-of-staff to ex-prime minister Tony Abbott, Peta Credlin, and her husband Brian Loughnane, former Liberal party director, have also purchased.Maurice Blackburn’s Liberty Sanger, who is married to former Labor MP David Feeney, spent $1,164,750 on her new pad in the tower. Mr Feeney recently sold another luxury parkside East Melbourne apartment, around the corner at 150 Clarendon Street, for $3.9 million. Former Victorian Labor MP Steven Herbert adds to the building’s political credentials with a $1,951,850 purchase. Several employees from Mirvac, the developer of the building, have offered a vote of confidence in the block by purchasing units. Mirvac director Elana Rubin paid $1,894,650 for her pad, while group general manager of innovation Teresa Giuffrida spent $1,097,350. Mirvac chief executive Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz previously told reportersshe had bought her own unit in the project.Maurice Blackburn’s Liberty Sanger, who is married to former Labor MP David Feeney, spent $1,164,750 on her new pad in the tower. Oh, investment property. I was about to say, I can't imagine Keating moving to Melbourne willingly. Maybe bound and gagged.

ok the donor committed suicide. Pin it on a dead man, how convenient.
How cheap to buy a political party when you are a billionaire. $100,000 almost in your back pocket. The chinese must think aussies absolute di@ks... Huang Xiangmo denies $100,000 Aldi bag donation, says media 'sensationalise' the storyBillionaire Chinese businessman Huang Xiangmo has broken his silence over the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) inquiry, denying he donated $100,000 to the NSW Labor Party. Key points:
In a statement published in his name on a Sydney Chinese news site, Mr Huang said he was "not the source" of the donation and was "shocked and saddened" to hear about the suicide of one of the alleged donors. It has been claimed at the inquiry that the donation was paid in cash, and that he delivered it to the Labor Party's Sydney headquarters in an Aldi shopping bag. Mr Huang has been the focus of the ICAC investigation that has blown open the conversation around political donations and triggered the suspension of NSW Labor boss Kaila Murnain.https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-09-06/huang-xiangmo-denies-aldi-bag-donation/11484554 |

There is a link on that article about a unit sold in Melbourne for nearly 300k over the reserve, nearly a million. This sold in 1975 for 25k.
One of the units sold in 1980 for 26k.

There has been a major demographic change in that area - there was minimal demand for one bedroom apartments in that area in the 70's and 80's - anyone with money was living in a house - now there is demand from the cashed up "empty nesters" who want to down size and remain in the same location.

Yes Doc , I know what you mean .
Hard to believe where our Politics is heading . No one accepts the Majority rule anymore so out goes Democracy. A dictator would be handy , someone like "Amen" who executed all Lawyers and half the other Academics . We would really miss Rusty if that happened. |
