Maybe Latrell should ask Izzy for a referral to his legal team ... just to vet any proposed illegal unconscionable contracts that RA might want to force on him ... or does Latrell already bat for the other team? ... not that there's anything wrong with that if he repents.

Josh Addo Carr has requested a release from Melbourne Storm. Maybe just a coincidence.

Latrell Mitchell considers shock switch to rugby unionLatrell Mitchell is considering a shock switch to rugby after his advisors sounded out Rugby Australia about the prospect of joining the 15-man game. With his NRL options rapidly dwindling, the Herald can reveal an approach was made on behalf of Mitchell to RA to gauge whether there is interest in the NSW and Australian centre. The enquiry could be the first step towards a change of codes if rugby officials believe he is a genuine Wallabies prospect. The Roosters and Tigers have pulled lucrative offers from the table that would have secured Mitchell’s long-term future. The premiers want to get the 22-year-old off their books as soon as possible, despite the fact he is contracted for 2020. The Tigers also became frustrated after they felt their offer was being used as a fallback option. In an online column he penned for SBS in May, dual international Timana Tahu said Mitchell should be a priority for Rugby Australia. “For the next high-profile player that they wanna look at, throw big money at, I’d be looking at Latrell,” Tahu wrote. “It'd be a massive loss for rugby league, but for rugby union, he'd bring a new audience, new sponsorship and help change the Wallabies. “It's perfect timing because there are two or three years for him to get his game knowledge up … the next World Cup is in 2023 “In terms of his union success, I just see his kicking skills, as well as his passing skills, being valuable. He's tall, he’s fast, he’s big — he’s made for rugby union. “In my opinion, if you were at Rugby Australia you should be doing everything you could to get him across …more |

Latrell looks Roly poly when you see him with his shirt off. More likely to end up in the forwards looking like George Rose than play fullback. Anyway he's off to the Wallabies so who cares ps try Googling fat Manly forwards and see what you get. Filth. Actually I duck duck goes so maybe a Google search will be cleaner. |

I see yet another NRL player has been locked up in Bali after an alleged drunken brawl.
That makes about 16 post-season infractions from these testosterone laden simians, who could now field a team plus reserves in a jailhouse junkhead football f*wit football fest.

Whatever the final outcome, the illegitimate Grand Final winners are ready to go ...
Roosters Bolster Squad With Trbojevic Brothers, Munster, Papalli, Wighton And Ponga SigningsConcerns about a premiership hangover for the Sydney Roosters have all but been alleviated today. Some in the media had already begun raising doubts this week about the tri-colours ability to go back-to-back-to-back, citing roster pressures and player wage demands following another year of success. However, fans of the Bondi Boys can rest easy and savour the success that has been the 2019 Premiership with the club announcing a raft of big-name signings. The club has sensationally announced a multi-club raid including the signatures of Tom and Jake Trbojeivc, Jack Wighton, Josh Papalii, Cameron Munster and Kalyn Ponga. While Manly, Melbourne, Canberra and Newcastle have been left fuming by the raid, the Sydney club has already moved to assure Salary Cap auditors that the 2020 roster will be compliant. “Cooper Cronk is retiring, freeing up a million bucks for us to sign all these guys on great contracts,” explained talent recruitment manager Tom Parsford-Annesley, known around the club as TPA. “So we have been easily able to fit these guys into the cap for next year,” explained TPA refusing to answer any questions about what other things may have been thrown in to sweeten the deal of million dollar players apparently happy on low six-figure contracts. The moves have already seemed to cause selection headaches for coach Trent Robinson, who has hinted at playing Josh Papalii and Jake Trbojevic on the bench, and Tom Trbojevic and Cameron Munster in the centres. “Look it’s a great problem to have, and I’m thankful to the club for its smart roster management that allows us to do this without cheating the salary cap at all,” said Robinson before having a brief consultation with the Coach Whisperer and ending the conversation. More to come. |

So now that the NRL has been exposed, and it is confirmed that the referees, linesman and administrators don't know their own rules and that the Raiders were in fact robbed, will they replay the Grand Final?
The NRL say the refs got THAT six-again call right. Their own rules confirm it was a blunder
The NRL is adamant the decision to reverse a six-again call in the Grand Final was the correct call. But their own rule book says different. As first reported by Fairfax, Rule 16.9 says the only way Cummins could have lawfully overturned the call was if foul play was present. “The referee judges on matters of fact and shall not subsequently alter those judgments,” the rule states. “He may cancel any decision made if prior foul play of which he had no knowledge is reported to him by a touch judge.” It comes as the NRL vowed to throw its support behind under-fire Cummins, |

I thought you said that there is no RDS.
When you whinge you didn't get a wrong call ignoring the knock-on to hopefully get you over the line, just so Easts dont win you are definitely deranged,.

Oh well, haters gonna hate PT, and most people will not consider the Rooters as legitimate back to back premiers ... now you know how Trump feels and what he will have to go through.

Never mind in a few months Peter VLandys is taking over from Beattie, that will solve all of NRLs problems He will have his fingers in both Racing NSW & the NRL. Let's see how that turns out .

Then it would be the "Best Player on the Team that Won" award, not the "Best Player" award.
Best player got it, and ironically, he should have been on the winning team too. The whole event was a summary of what the NRL has devolved into - a comedy of errors. Lowest TV audience in 15 years too ... nobody likes Easts I guess.
To be fair, the try that never should have been was pretty slick, and ironically was scored on the side of the field that Canberra was trying to target all night.

Pretty bad whatever the reason. I am with maxie also, should go to a player in the winning team, the player contributing most to a victory, not a consolation prize.

I've read somewhere that there was issues with Darren Lockyer voting, JWH was in front, Locky voted manually and it changed the result. |

Radio rumour is the Judges voted by Phone text at the games final minutes & the overload in that massive crowd caused a problem.
Whatever , the Churchill medal has to go to a player from the winning side, or it's pointless.. The NRL find a way to fk up every big event. |

Two medal awards and both went to the losing players.
Laughable . . Top marks to Mitchell for his match winning flick pass , The play of the match, Tedesco is there when you need him , week after week. Morris played a Blinder , Cordner is a real work horse. I felt the Roosters played 20 points below their best , but injuries early didn't help. The bin , the change of mind , didn't say much for the referees. For all the heart stoppers , i did collect & got a 20% Betfair Boost to make the price more realistic. GO THE ROOSTERS> |

Bottom line is the correct decision was eventually made. Better a game is won by the team that best deserved it rather than being the beneficiary of an incorrect decision as most are wanting to have happened, claiming Canberra were robbed.
Human error will always be in the game. They try too take it out by having extra officials on and off the field but even some bunker decisions have shown that it can still come down to an opinion at the time with many bunker calls ridiculed. You can't completely eliminate human error or the opinion of a flawed human's view of something.

NEVER! ... never seen a referee change his mind, until they started to do it when they had a stoppage in play and had a look at a replay that is. Never seen a runner get hit by the ball either!!! ... that rule has to change! Interesting watching the game live - never realised how the runners spend more time on the field than the players these days - it's like u/6's.

Rubbish - they never go back to the previous set of six to review a bad decision - they should but they don't. It was fitting that the NRL "showcase" was decided by the referees though!

Oh, and I forgot, the girls game ... way to fcuk up a good afternoon at the football ... it was rubbish.
Would have been a great day if the Jets game was the curtain raiser, rather than that unwatchable piece of crap exhibition of how bad Lesbians are at rugby league ... should have stayed at the pub a couple of hours longer.

I was there, great atmosphere, the Viking Clap was awesome. The Rooters last minute attempt with their drummer was about as pathetic as the other entertainment and the "Welcome to Country" ... how good was the Welcome to Country. ... because it is such a rich part of Authentic Indigenous History and Culture, nobody can recite it without notes! ... a rich part of Leftard Virtue Signaling Heritage is all it is ... 80% of the crowd was cheering the Raiders on, and they were reaching fever pitch when that "Six More" signal went up, as the fairytale looked within their grasp ... just a shame that the officials decided the result. No RDS here ... good luck to Easts, the NRL, the players, their fans and their referees ... and fcuk them all.

After he changed his mind he should have called the play back to where tackle 5 was made and let Canberra know that he changed his mind. The Canberra players clearly did not know.
