The old jumper Slowpoke Rodriquez ran a super race, first up in nearly 2 years after a double tendon injury. Finished 5th, will be hard to beat in the Grand Annual if he stays sound.

speaking of old horses i reckon selfie is a rough chance in the last at doomben. It's a weak race and he comes in after a four week break and is at his right distance
