I'm not normally one to start threads on horses but l reckon this guy is a nice horse in the making.

Two career starts to date.

Desperately unlucky at Goulburn on debut. The replay watchers would have been all over it.

Heavily backed at Muswellbrook today and bolted in. Sat deep throughout. He just wanted to get his head up to one side but once the head went straight he lengthened beautifully.

Nice horse. It's one to follow.

Maybe Djebel is saying it was lucky to win because he was on it.

The time hasn't stacked up too well compared to the Class1 event but that's okay, l'm not obsessed with times. I prefer to go with my eye.

I'm sure it'll measure up midweek in town at the very least. The question now is do they head that way or do they pick off another cheap race? I'm hoping they go to town. I want to get reasonable odds.

In tomorrow at Goulburn.

They went up $2.90 which l've smashed. I was thinking anything close to evens would be a ripping price. $2.90 is a luxury. Now into $2.40 which is still good odds.

The horse that it beat at Muswellbrook came out today and won a maiden easily.

All being equal, Beaufort Park won't be beaten tomorrow. Just needs to get off the fence at the right time.

He's a nice horse this boy.

Controlled the race and put them to the sword.

Get him to town now Gerald.

Kembla today race 7. I snapped up the $2.40 fixed when markets first opened.

He'll be winning again. The wide gate is no issue. He'll comfortably slide across. He should be able to lead but if something wants to take us on, that's fine, sitting in the death doesn't bother me. Just keep him out of trouble and in rhythm.

Stepping up to the mile is even better. He'll eat it up. In time l can see him getting 2000 as well.

I respect the Garry Neale horse. Ex Simon Morrish horse. He's flying since going up there. He'll provide a bit of a test but once the whips are cracking l expect to put a margin on them.

Only terrible luck can beat me l feel.
