That is sad Unhappy

Going to have to watch a Bogart or a Cagney classic this weekend, out of respect for the great man ... always thought that he had the best job ever!
In reference to every post in the Trump thread ... "There may have been a tiny bit of license taken there" ... Ok, Thanks for the "heads up" PT!

I reckon he’s died about 6 times

anyone ever see 'Mad Dog Time', with Jeff Goldblum? A very funny movie, with lots of dead people in it, both the film characters and the actors who played them...Richard Pryor and Burt Reynolds, among many...was rated one of the worst movies of 1996, but I think it's hilarious. Jeff Goldblum is so smooth in it...and is one of the few not to die...

For a start we would not have had to deal with the Clinton filfth.

27 years later and we are still suffering!

thank you all for your sympathies. We are farewelling her with a crazy wake at Bronte Surf Club, on Tuesday. I will miss discussing the footy, cricket, races and politics with her. She was a very intelligent woman who never wasted a minute of her life. Used to get the first race quinella with ease. I intend writing her biography when I finish my four-book series. She did some interesting stuff.

Former Olympic gold medallist and world champion in four weight divisions, Pernell Whittaker has died aged 55.

Known as Sweet Pea, he won the gold in 1984 in Los Angeles, turned professional the same year and won his first world title four years later. He lost that title and then won another title two years later, and went on a 7 year unbeaten run, until he met Oscar De La Hoya in 1997.

He was inducted into the Boxing Hall Of Fame in 2006, turned to training in his home state of Virginia and he briefly trained former world champion Zab Judah.

He died, after complications from being hit by a car.
