Another 50 or so runs should flush out Fiddles.

I think they need to rethink the way DRS works, yes I know by the law Finch wasn't out but there is no way he reviewed that because he thought it was a no ball.

If Finch did not know he had hit the ball, or he did not feel it up his arm or the impact on the glove, why did he not look for the referral.

Not only is he not a test level opener, he is second guessing his decisions about his wicket!
Remember, it might take intelligence to be smart , but it takes experience to be wise

Marsh is a wonderful batsman when he gets himself in. Up against the old ball he should do us ALL proud tomorrow.

Aus any hope here at all? Have to say they have lasted longer than I thought. Expected then to completely capitulate this morning and be in the pub by now.

Khawaja and Paine are to blame for this loss.

Terrible shots at inappropriate times.

No.

There is getting out and there is throwing your wicket away.

I am far more condemning of batters who are set and get out or throw their wicket away.

Finch is incapable of defending, he should not be there anyway, won't be surprised if he makes way for Langers little buddy Cam Bancroft before the series is done.

Ok that's only low level cr@p, however Paz has been thankfully banned again.  This time forever one would hope, after continual racial and misogynistic posts.  Thumbs Down

That would be surprising to hear. Usually they aren’t bannable offences around here.

Some surprising resilience from the top order. 4-180odd much better than recent efforts.

We've done very well, despite one batter who's strike rate of about 18 runs per 100 balls places sustained pressure on the blokes at the other end.

Khawaja is totally out of form.

Handscomb is totally out of his depth.

I wonder how much Khawaja's brother's situation is playing on his mind and is affecting his game ?

I think Khawaja is a rhythm player, he needs to be batting constantly to keep himself in rhythm and keep his form, the injury has made that hard.

Kohli just reached his 50, Rahane is looking fluent, this could be the match defining partnership, suspect if the Aussies can break this soon a 100+ lead could be obtained.

Cricketers, including umpires, seem to think that if you get your hands under the ball it's a catch. That ain't necessarily so.
