These type of races including the Everest, sales company days etc are messing up the sires Lists big time.  Yes Snitzel would just be on top without the Everest but its fair to say I am Invincible is the stand out sire this year.  With some nice showing from young middle distance sires also catching the eye.  At least it Happy Clapper, Amphitrite or Alizee win the class of the winner deserves the prizemoney.  Saddly most of the others don't.

How in gods name is this field racing for $5,000,000!! Take away $4m and change the name to the 'public vote mile' or something more appropriate

The comedy continues with Almandin & Rekindling occupying two of the emergencies.

Is Rekindling even in the country?

The race needs Hartnell & Le Romain to get two of the remaining wildcard spots, just to get the rating up.

My take on this race is that it’s a stand alone, different concept that opens gates for lots of owners who otherwise would never get the opportunity to experience the thrill of being a contender (for want of a better word) in such a lucrative race.
And the organisers haven’t messed with any other classic or time honoured race, so why not just take it for what it is and cheer on the underdogs? 😁
Next time there may be only one vote per syndicate and that in itself will change the dynamics forever?

I actually like the concept.

But how they've implemented it is absolutely absurd.

This from Ned’s Australia

RV and RNSW both been looking of ways to promote the industry.

A match race between Chautauqua and Best Of Days could create some public interest.

Would probaby be better viewing than the #AllStarMile tbh.
