Very talented rising 4yo mare.

Trialled like a bomb this morning. Super Too wouldn't often get beaten in an 800m trial. She strung them out, Invincible Star sat a couple off her, and in the last 100m she dove through and nailed her under a hold.

It was just what you want to see and I took some of the $26 in the Moir Stakes with Sportsbet off that. Not confirmed but that's the plan in the hope she can win and gain an Everest slot.

She flies the Melbourne way and her form of last spring is genuine G1.

Just watched the trial on the SG thread. Very nice.

I didn't read it initially but Racenet's spring focus GaiBot article confirms your comment Sunline:

INVINCIBLE STAR
"She got pipped on the post in the Coolmore Stud Stakes last spring.
"She’s back and going well, about a month off trialling.
"We would love to try to get her into The Everest. She’s a real speed filly and her form has stood up.
"She may target a race like the Moir Stakes first-up at Moonee Valley. She’s done well in Melbourne in the past.
"Winning a race like the Moir would put her on the radar for The Everest if there’s still some slots available."
The Everest ($61), Moir Stakes ($26)

Am totally amazed they'd be asking her to go 45.63 secs in her first public trial eight months after her last run and three months before the Everest.Confused

Then again I don't have Gai's credentials.

Been following this miss from the sales.  Same family as Merchant Navy also Djebel.  This is the 1-n family of I am Invincible also that's why I marked her to follow.

I said all of the above to myself as well, including the part where she has forgotten more Group 1 wins than I have backed.

I might be concerned if she was running next week but it's  a long time to the Moir. It was only 800m and she looked to do it comfortably against a flyer. Augurs well for the spring imo.

Long Row they are numbers used to keep track of female lines.  The 1-n decend from a great mare called Chelandry (the second dam of Heroic etc).  Now they have been muddied by breeders sometimes not telling the truth in the past (before blood typing) but they still help in finding lines you want to use.

For instance I have two favourite lines.  The 13a and the 1n.  Have others I follow and like but these are my favourites.  The 1n family include horses like High Chaparral, I am Invincible, Merchant Navy, Zeditave, Heroic, Magpie, Just a Dash, Rose Archway, Anabaa, Flight, Sky High, Innocent King, Americain etc.  You get sprinters, stayers, milers etc.  So a prolific line which delivers.

The 13a cross well to the 1n line.  The 13a line of Juliet produced So You Think to that cross.  While She Will Reign and Impending also from the 13a line of Juliet have crossed to a mix of 13c (a line decending through her dam's 1/2 sister) Mr Prospector and the 5h family of Special (through Nureyev and Fairy Bridge).

William Hill is a joke, but Sportsbet isn't much better. You need mates' accounts, 3BM.

$1.60? Outstanding Dillwar. They stood to lose $40 on a race weeks away. Perhaps the CEO would take $3.20?

Rarely bet with SB so I'd forgotten how pathetic they were. Now remember I went through the same process last time - deposit, try to bet, get a paltry amount accepted, get p'd off, try to withdraw, get the standard SB withdrawal block (and the rote turnover spiel), contact them to fix their block (they never argue because they know their "rule" is misleading bs, very likely illegal), empty my account.
