How can they stop the owner demanding a Cox Plate start? He's more of a danger to Winx than Benbatl.

Waller on tv now talking up his immaturity.LOL Pull the other one- he's a Redoute's- he will never be more competitive at wfa as he is at 3.

If it was another trainer, without doubt he would be running.
Owners should be demanding be runs and if Walker refuses, take it off him and give him to someone else.

That was just too easy.

I was cursing in the run but he just had lengths on them.

Sydney form always beats Melbourne form. It's been like that for years.

They have to run the 3 year old in the Cox Plate.
The weights.

Him and Benbatl will be super hard to catch in the Cox Plate.

Waller has to run The Autumn Sun.
If Winx wins against that quality, without going overseas, its what she has to do, and Waller has to do.

If anything Waller owes it to the public who want to see Winx run against the best she can.
he would be doing Winx a justice, not an injustice, and equally, a justice for The Autumn Sun, who gets to run the Cox Plate as a 3 year old, and an injustice if he doesnt get the chance.

The public want Winx to beat the best there is.
She didnt go overseas, so at the very least, have the sportsmanship to let her try beat The Autumn Sun.

Im a huge Waller fan by the way.

Why would it break him?

Bloke doesn't know Winx is champ!

Hay List & Hartnell survived being beaten by champs over and over.

I’ve always thought the Redoutes were best as Spring 3yos, like their old man, so it would be a shame if he’s not there. Strike while the iron is hot. Not sure about challenging Winx though- no doubt he’s a star, but winner aside I think that was the weakest Guineas I’ve seen. Still, it would add another element to the race- with the Caulfield Stakes horses they could make a race of it.

Best 3 year old I've seen in the last 10 years. Maybe longer. How good is he?

Agree 100%.

That being the case, I hate to think what his first season service fee will be in the current market.

"How does he beat Winx if he's not fully mature? If he's going to be a world champion I'd rather see it in six months time than two weeks time," Waller said.

McDonald was similarly cautious despite the scintillating display. "I wouldn’t (go to the Cox Plate), she (Winx) is too good," he said.

Great call Furious.

A win in that Gp 1 race would certainly cap his career and further ensure his stud future.

I don't agree that it was a below average Guineas.
And he didn't just beat them, he destroyed them. Wide all the way and won running away.

Cox Plate is a chance if he runs but Waller doesn't want to. Then it won't take long before people say Waller dodged the best like Moody with Black Caviar.

Another trainer and yes he does go to the Cox Plate.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left

He's not fully mature that's why he only has 49.5kg in the Cox Plate. DUR Geek

There is no way in the world The Autumn Sun improves 6kg between now and April like the wfa scale says he will, being a precocious Redoute's.

He's had two tough runs already, big ask to come out and beat the world's best. Just look what happened to his father when he tried to do the same thing.
