The best race for him in open company is the QE minus Winx

Yes he won but the $26 shot was 3 lengths behind him when he started his march and finished 3 lengths behind him. Nearly made up identical ground as they went stupid in front.
Nakeeta Jane nearly won backing up on an old path
Fundamentalist couldn’t win in melb so was sent on easier path up there.
He ran home very well and is a good horse but spare me this Winx or even beat 3yo stuff.
Not in the same league

Agreed. Winx would absolutely trash him. He will never meet her has too much on the line for the future. He'd rather go to the study with the aura of him being able to push winx to some people rather than not.

Well put. However I wouldn't say the two fillies are well ahead of him. I think Arcadia Queen probably beats him, but Mystic Journey, not sure. Would be a great race with all three in it.

Keep in mind TAS was only 2nd up on Saturday. He improved a lot 3rd up in his first two preps.

This is true, it would be awesome to see him run in the Ranvet next and have a crack outside his age group, unfortunately this probably won't happen.

I note Waller has Dealmaker nommed for the Phar Lap on Saturday. Interested to see if he pays up. Thought the RG looked ideal for him after last start but if they’re running him here might be a clue as to where TAS is heading.

Honestly this horse could do a Strawberry Road or Kingston Town and street the Derby.  What is wrong with the man.  Let him run to the distance he was bred to excel at.  He is standing an ATC Derby winner in Dundeel.  Who everyone is thinking will make a good stallion.  Top price yesterday at the sale.  G1 winning 2yo at the weekend.  Nothing wrong with a Derby on your CV.  Strawberry Road had to go overseas to stud to get a chance and his line is still working in the USA.  At least we have grown enough to have given Dundeel a chance.

I want to see this horse over 2400m.  I think it could be mind blowing.

Good point furious, he is playing to the futures market with this horse imo, how many buyers went to the yearling sales to buy a Redoutes Choice as a Derby prospect? but a lot of the purchases were made on the hope of a Golden Slipper runner , syndication and other buyers want the early runners to maintain interest and turnover , this horse is crying out for ground , on the face of it the natural path would be Ros.Guin. then Derby, or Ranvet then Derby, it's all dollars with messara always has been.

Waller has confirmed he will go to the Rosehill Guineas next, no fixed plan beyond that.

Madison County, unless he switches to the Tulloch and into the Derby.

Highland Reel beaten 5+ lengths by Winx won his grp 1 races between 2000m - 2400m unplaced 8 times - served 148 mares at $16500 in Australia last spring Imagine what a colt with a 2yo Group 1 win and at least 4 group 1 wins at 1400-1600 would be worth with a 5 length loss to Winx

Djebel what is wrong with you even though it would be an interesting contest the mare would win.  But I wonder what is wrong with them also.  He needs to go the Derby trip.  That is what he is bred for and I'd like to see another Derby like the wins of Kingston or Strawberry Road.   Bit like his Guineas in Melbourne only walking away all the way down the straight.  Pretty sure that is where we'd see his best.

Big letters must make a point more valid, they will not race him against the mare, this preperation is all about padding out his stud fee before the next breeding season, harp on all you want djebel but it won't happen.

Will need to see the replay and he might have been unlucky but that looked poor from Oliver on Chapala. Should’ve just about won.

Massively overrated horse. Talked up by connections for breeding etc.

Hasn't met a good field yet and barely wins multiple times.

He'll be retired before he's found out

This was obvious a long way out. I wouldn’t send my mare to him at bargain basement price let along what they will ask. Look at margins and quality of horses in all big wins. It reads ugly. Waller deserves a medal for his placement and very lucky born ion a year the fillies dominated.

No QE for you.

My pick is that The Autumn Sun, the greatest 3yo since Kingston Town, is now unofficially retired from racing.
