George Ryder, All-aged, maybe even the Queen Elizabeth - all at Group 1 level.

Won't Winx be in the George Ryder and QE?

Should I have taken that into account when answering what WFA races were available to him after the Guineas?  Cool

I just mean Messara said if he wins a couple of times at WFA before the end of the season he will probably go to stud, but also said he doesn't want "to be involved" in Winx being beaten.

Does not want run against Winx as they don’t want to be involved if she goes down.

Wouldn't surprise me if he takes the autumn stallion cherry picking path of beating up stayers in the Orr and Futurity and if he wins them a swansong in the All Aged.

So they'll go Randwick Guineas, All Aged, Doomben 10,000.

Messara should stop this early stud advertising campaign, everyone knows TAS wouldn't get within a cooee of Winx but no doubt the advertising will feature someone gushing on how he could have beaten Winx.

Good horse but I just wish they'd try push him to his limits, kind of ironic considering his dad won an open WFA G1 at his 3rd start.

Won't beat Winx.

So best option is the Hobartville, Randwick Guineas, Doncaster.

Without wishing so, Winx might become unwell, be injured, or simply not come up.

Which would mean it's a whole new ball game.

I bet they concentrate on Melbourne to get the wfa wins, culminating in the All Star Mile.

That’s the way they’ll go IMO. He’s a very good colt and the 3 year old form stood up ok with Graf’s good effort in the Everest. In fact he might be the best of them!

But where are the 2 wfa wins in that program?

All Aged will definitely be on the radar and then Brisbane, probably the Kingsford Smith. Thats his 2 WFA wins.

Didn't the last Cox Plate come too early for him? So he has a sweet spot of about six months where he can take on WFA horses? Great attitude.

I don't think TAS will win 2 G1 wfa races.

Lets face it, once he won his Guineas he was no chance of being pushed to his limits, everything now is about his hype leading into his stud career next spring.

It's a shame we no longer can see these good colts have a Lonhro or even a Redoutes type career where they take on the open age races.

Doesn't need to race in WFA.

Messara's comments about killin Barbie is enough to get the breeders really excited.

If you were naive one could hold that against Winx's domination....such as the usual Racenet intellect.

Huh? One could easily take on Winx the passed couple years as her targets and lead up races have been all but set in stone in both the spring and autumn, a world away from where TAS is at where his only autumn goal will be to try pick up a couple more G1s to pad out the record for stud, not sure how I'm naive or what your point even is...

To be fair just his record is enough to get breeders excited. G1 win at 2, Golden Rose/Guineas at 3 and dominant at that.

My point was some falsely use the argument that all these horses going to stud early diminishes her legacy in some way...there is always a few knockers.

Back to original topic he's a dominant colt in a weak year... mare would give him a cold for Christ's sake

Likely resuming Saturday in the Hobartville, be interesting to see how he has come back, sometimes these boom spring 3yo's can be caught and passed by their later developing contemporaries.

I guess some would prefer to go to the Flemington Guineas leaving the Australian Cup the next week an option or 3 weeks into the Rosehill Guineas.

The Australian Guineas is 7 days after the Apollo, with both the Australian Cup and Randwick Guineas a week later.

Does anyone know all the races, in order, that The Autumn Sun is actually running in, this prep?
I want to do an early multi, with The Autumn Sun winning every race he enters this prep.
