Gee this is some horse to turn up on our shores, isn't it?

Multiple French Group 2 winner who has placed in a HK Vase and run in a couple of Arcs! Left France in very good form and should have some good races left in him.

What a race Waller has found to resume him in - set weights plus penalties, although his benchmark is quite low in my opinion anyway.

How do these horses hold him out? He is a far better 2400m horse, but Waller will have got a bit of speed into his legs already and I wouldn't see 2000m proving too sharp first up.

Really looking forward to seeing him kick off. Would have been awesome if he was ready for the Tancred but not to be.

In reference to every post in the Trump thread ... "There may have been a tiny bit of license taken there" ... Ok, Thanks for the "heads up" PT!

Coming to the bend I thought he was going to be in the finish but he ran out of steam no sooner than he started his run.

What a flop. More money on him than any other horse and he runs like a busted camel.
I'm going back to my tried and true method of punting in Sydney.

Never bet on a Waller horse. Always unders.

I started with nothing and still have most of it left

Was wondering can a Rig still impregnate a mare? Or are the testicles infertile because they descended?

They can but generally are limited in numbers they can serve before fertility suffers - although I believe a couple of rigs over the years have been able to serve large books.

He looks close to a win, That was a pretty fair effort yesterday.

He is a chance in the Metropolitan. He does meet the winner a kilo worse for a 3 length beating but he had a pretty tough run yesterday and will be fitter.

At the odds that he should be on the day he'll be worth an eachway ticket.

Fitness and distance will bring that 5 lengths plus some.

I still say that that race will be a great form reference in the next two months.

Finche & Withhold are likely favourites for the Geelong Cup on Weds, and Yogi will be tough to beat too.

But at around 16/1 I don’t mind OFIH as an each way proposition at Geelong. Close up behind Avilius & Ace High in Sydney recently and getting fitter all the time.

Might just be ready to hit top form again and the engagement of Corey Brown is a big plus too.
