What a joke it is that we can't watch the one day series on free to air, they really did a number on the Australian public with that one, all greed and no care. The sport is going down the toilet here quick smart.

Because of the gross overreaction from Cricket Australia and the media absolutely lapping it up instead of this being forgotten about by the tour of Dubia it is now overshadowing the India series and will reak havoc over the World Cup and Ashes tour.

A one match suspension plus Smith and Warner loosing their leadership rolls was all that was needed and this would be over.

Instead it will still be going in March next year.

I suspect that investigations discovered this was more than a one off tampering incident, cricket Australia are only giving us as much information as they have to.

Wealth Management company Magellen immediately dropped a $20 million naming rights deal and there was a fear of flight of sponsors. CA acted in what they saw as the games best interest. All or most involved have since been sanctioned or  moved on, from players to senior management to board members.

There has been comments about how the Australians got more out of the ball in the ashes last summer despite England boasting one of the worlds best swing bowlers.

Lets not also forget Australian cricket has a history of cover ups, remember Warne and M Waughs involvement with bookies in the 90s.
