"Cricket Australia (CA) will launch an independent review into the organisation's "culture, processes and governance" in the wake of the ball-tampering scandal.

CA Chairman David Peever also indicated there was no cloud hanging over the head of CA's Chief Executive James Sutherland".

Nothing like pre-empting the findings of the review.  ClownUnhappy

It could also be interpreted as the old vote of confidence before the fall.

She was MITCH MARSH's girlfriend before.

I reckon she switched because she needed certainty about travelling the world with the team. Lyon sticks around for another 5 years,at least.

Mitch and Shaun are prodders at the wicket.

How many times does Shaun get caught prodding, leg side or just forward of bat.

Michael Clarke wants to CAPTAIN  AUSTRALIA again.

IS the jar empty?

I hope he has as much chance of re-birthing an AUST captaincy as

other candidates  RICKY,BORDER and BOB SIMPSON.

Exactly Shrunk.

Had a quietish drink with Jones and mutual friends in Adelaide a few years ago, and he mentioned as part of the conversation that coach at the time Simpson during a one-day game sent a message out saying that he (Jones) would never play for Australia again he he once more used the reverse sweep.

And a team mate of mine in the ACT who played many Grade games in Sydney with Simpson was required to umpire a game in tandem with others when one of the umpires failed to show.  And gave Bobby out run out one day.  Gerry never played another first grade game.

And me as well

On Jones! That makes total sense. Reverse sweep. God all mighty he had more talent in his little finger than a Warner does but was sack by Simpson

Still boils my innards

I have always questioned the need for a National "Team" Coach, particularly in cricket ... I agree with a batting coach, bowling and fielding specialist coaches, but really, what should be the qualification to "coach" a group of players who are ostensibly better players than you ever were? ... The role is misrepresented, and football, which appoints "Managers" as opposed to "Coaches" better defines that role of "mentor" for elite level sporting teams, IMO ... from what I can see, Boof was an unfit cricketer with a better than average eye, sense of humor, and ability to sledge ... how did that become the criteria?

At the end of the day, I guess success is the only measure.

What a disgrace, now Steve Smith is looking to become a commentator on the new cricket broadcasting regime over summer while he serves out his suspension. How is being highly paid and enjoying the comforts/benefits of a cricket commentary lifestyle any sort punishment.?? you aussies are a joke when it comes to proper sanctions, seriously.

Channel 7 and Fox are the new broadcasters, so we lose all the familar voices for some new bunch of clowns, pink balls and Foxtels new 'spin' on what they called a tired game, oh I can hardly wait for this circus to begin. Australia is determined to ruin the traditional visual form of the game.

At least we sanctioned our cheaters.

The Poms got MBE's after cheating their way to the Ashes of 2005.
Atherton maintained the captaincy after being found guilty of ball tampering, whilst Broad and Anderson were both fined by the ICC for being guilty of ball tampering, no sanction came from the ECB, who obviously condone the behaviour.
