Interesting last two starts he’s looked liked winning by panels but giving a bit of ground late. Wonder if he switches off. Might need to hold him up a touch in better company, but he’s a push button type.

Noticed that late Judge. Have to watch again but when Zahra put the whip away he coasted then picked up a little again when given a late one.

He might have won me a Mercedes Stayer.    He made up 3 out of 4 winners in my entry into Betfairs Tipping competition for this week end.

You had to beat their professional tipsters on the 4 nominated races to get a boost prize. ( I've done that ) Or get into the top 50 for cash to your account prize.
A lot of fun actually,   It was a pair of sox and a betfair cap for one winner last week.

Heard them say it cost 400k to land him in Oz.

Which is a lot of money for a horse that had won an ordinary maiden from three starts in the NH, and demonstrates what a huge market Oz now is for staying bred horses.

Racing is flying in Oz , and like most things here we have gained big time with migration.        (King's Will Dream is an Ozzie now ) same as Costa Tszyu, Daria Gavilova and Humidor.

Things might change if the stupid Government goes ahead with this "tobacco" type tax on Gambling.

Read somewhere is $10 for the Caulfield Cup, that is more a scandal than ball tampering.

I see what you did there SC...

Actually CC markets are usually loaded up front with Oaks/Derby types, generally well under the odds. I wouldn't touch that price KWD, but I'd probably take it before the 15s on offer for second fave Ace High. Joke market.

I have no problem with their position in the market just the price. This time of year I want their potential price multiplied by number of fortnights till race.

🤔

With a Benchmark of 98 I guess they can afford to win a early season listed race, but I can not see them pressing the button in serious races.

My favourite horse coming into spring resumes on Saturday. I don't expect him to do anything much until the Turnbull Stakes so they can protect his handicap rating and get into CC on minimum.
