Barnaby has been a colossal fail in all his ministerial roles but he's great at glad-handing.

More skeletons?
BREAKING: Barnaby Joyce has renominated to run in New England, but some Nationals are resisting confirming his preselection because they believe “there are more skeletons in the closet” @SkyNewsAust |

Hard to believe there are 7 women who are that ugly, AND have such low self esteem, AND are not ALP/Greens Senators ...

Mr Joyce reportedly told Fairfax Media today the arrival of the baby had "comprehensively removed any doubts about paternity on the basis of date".

I'm surprised no one has twigged or mentioned that one of the "dead" give aways of VIAGRA use is that ruddy "beetroot" facial appearance.
I wonder if he was stoked up on that when he had the casting couch in use. All confusing after the revelation that Barnaby may not have fired the offending arrow. It is a waste of good money that Viagra anyway. 3 of sand and one of cement is a much cheaper option. |

I reckon someone in the PM's office finally did the sums and was ready to leak, so Barnaby simply got in front of it ... the girlfriend was right next to him when he spilled the beans, so it wasn't a dump on her. He said he's going to stand by her no matter ... better man than Turnbull, Shorten and Di Natale combined! It wasn't the Greens/ALP Collusion with the dirt, that's a given ... they would still be doing the sums when the kid was graduating from university, and still would have had them wrong.

If we didn't know it before we now have undeniable proof that this guy is a self-centred, ignorant pr!ck. The only possible logical explanation for his comments on the paternity issue is that in the face of rumours they decided to get it over and done with for the sake of the child's future. Even then the manner in which this insensitive ass dealt with it is bloody disgraceful.

John Hancock told him last month to stay away from his family, that he had done enough damage to them. Not sure of the family dynamics now nor whether Gina and John are on better terms, but he was pretty assertive.

Correct, unless it becomes a criminal issue with him being recommended for criminal prosecution as they did with Slipper, and a court orders a paternity test, he can continue to claim doubt and the govts processes cant do him much damage other than political. He continues to deny his relationship isn't that of a partner because the kid may not be his. The parliament can't order a test

Multi-millionaires, eh. The way Barnyard portrays his background in the media I assumed they were share-croppers living in a mud humpy. I wonder what the objection was to Mrs Joyce. Don't tell me she's a Proddy. |

Barnaby's letter to Gina's daughter,HOPE.... in 2011
quote In his letter to Hope, Mr Joyce explained his own family history and his decision to leave the family business to marry the girl he loved. “I used to live in New England. My parents are well off, not like yours obviously, but multi-millionaires none the less,’’ Mr Joyce wrote. “I left the family business, was offered an ultimatum that I could not accept to be honest, leave your girlfriend or leave. “When I got married one side of the church was packed, that was my wife’s, the other side fitted onto two pews. The wedding photos are not on display in my house. “Hope it is not my business but can I offer just an idea. Who really loves you, who misses you, who would give everything and beg for more if your life depended on it because you are Ginny’s sister and Gina’s daughter? Alternatively, who has a motivation and a business based on stirring people up, telling people they can win things, telling people they can get more money and billing them for their grief. Hope believe me, such a practise has been going on a long time — it is their very business. “You are a family Australia needs. All good families have their problems but before it gets really out of hand, I would try and get it back in house and out of public view,” Mr Joyce concluded. Mr Joyce sent the e-mail in 2011 when he was opposition spokesman for regional development, local government and water and not a cabinet minister. Hope had originally sided with her older siblings in the dispute with their mother but later pulled out of the legal battle following a $45 million loan from her mother. Gina Rinehart has long been a vocal supporter of Mr Joyce and presented him with a $40,000 cheque last November alongside an award at an event put on by her company Hancock Prospecting at the Australian War Memorial to celebrate the agriculture industry. Gina Rinehart handed him a National Agricultural and Related Industries prize and said the Deputy Prime Minister was a “champion of farming.” A bewildered Mr Joyce accepted the award on stage but then scrambled to hand the money back. |

How exactly would that work? They would need to produce a random rooter, slut shame Campion and declare the kid a bastard- brilliant plan. |

Could also be that he is still sticking to the ''she wasn't my partner then'' story, suggesting she had other partners, as the Estimates inquiry into his claims closes in on him.

Barnyard's behaviour makes no rational sense unless he is sure he's not the father and is laying the foundations to give Campion the flick. But rationality is probably not the lens to view Barnyard through.

What an idiot.
Leaves his wife and children for a NEW FOUND LOVE and progresses to tell the world he may not be the father of the unborn child and it doesn't matter. ******************************************************** A touch of CATHOLIC.................... LegitimacyThe Roman Catholic Code of Canon Law declares that if a child is born into a legitimate marriage, that child is legitimate. The father of the child is the mother's husband unless clear evidence proves otherwise. The child, however, does not have to be conceived within wedlock to be considered legitimate. If a child is born at least 180 days after the wedding, the child is considered legitimate. Similarly, if a child is born no more than 300 days after a divorce, the child is considered legitimate. Outdated PracticesUntil recently, illegitimacy bore a great stigma in the Catholic Church. Having a child outside wedlock was considered a sign of depravity, and the child was believed to be tainted by that depravity. In the 11th Century, Pope Urban II prohibited any man who was born outside wedlock from entering holy orders. Illegitimacy was considered a "defect of birth." Without a special dispensation, men who were born illegitimately were barred from the priesthood, the diaconate and religious orders. This policy continued into the early 20th Century. Modern PracticesToday the Catholic Church affords children who are born out of wedlock the same rights as any other child. According to "The Family and Human Rights," issued by the Pontifical Council for the Family, "All children, whether born in or out of wedlock, enjoy the same right to social protection, with a view to their integral personal development." The 1999 Code of Canon Law does not mandate legitimacy as a qualification for ordination, and it does not place any penalties or restrictions on illegitimate children. |
