It’s a shame 1979 will be their last. Stuck on 15 for eternity. It was a shame to see them disappear from the RL landscape, they were such a great club.

Very unfortunate, but such has been the quality of NRL administration for many years - nothing changes ...
Could have been worse Shrunk ... could have been a North Sydney Bears or a Newtown Blue Bags fan!

Not much interest in this NRL Grand Final.
I would have thought the punters would be betting up on the $1.82 Storm. With Cronk NO chance , I would have expected the fav to be shorter. |

Cronk will play, he won't be 100% but he'll play, it's a grand final, I just think they'll feel it's worth the gamble given points will be at a premium in this match. If for whatever reason he has to come off then Matterson will play 6 and Keary 7. Cronk is one tough hombre, he'll make it work.

You can't really count Cooper Crock in the defensive line he is a passenger just directing traffic. Melbourne are playing as bad as the chooks are playing good. |

I did the selection switch with the Cronk Injury so egg on face .No bet.
The facts for the season was Storm's ball handling wasn't good in most games throughout. Grand Final Pressure had them make 7 errors to 1 in the first half . That's 36 plays gifted to The Rooster and end of game . Congtats. to those who stuck with the improvers . NEVER in doubt. |
