Surprised in a way Billy Slater went the distance with his hammy problems, very hard to keep fit with that trouble, done a mighty job imo,
K Ponga has a sidestep like "Le Butterfly" Reg Gasnier , just needs the penetration to compliment his overall ability, ( we all know that lol)
Latrell Mitchell could be imo what stands between the chooks lining up for the GF with the other two SS and Penrith, he is a combo of GI ( in his youth) Harry Wells the great centre
and Peter Diamond , could be anything ( we all know that lol). nuff said.

 (d) the Referee may award a penalty try if, in his opinion, a try would have been scored but for the unfair play of the defending team.

In the Referee's opinion, a try would NOT have been scored - he declared it a NO TRY, and simply asked for clarification on the sin binning ...

Is that a reference to his acknowledgement of his white ancestry?

I know they all look the same to you CNNPT, but his build and running style is very similar to a young rangy free striding indigenous back rower who came down from QLD and played for the Balmain Tigers in the mid 1960's ... until he realised his true calling in life as a pie eater and had to be moved to the front row.

That's an interesting pedigree, does he have naturally curly black hair though? - there have been plenty of Goolagongs around in the AFL code over the years too ... I'm just glad he rejected tennis!Thumbs Up

No.

He's already started on the Beetson pie-eating diet from the look of him with shirt off.

Hasler didn't approve player contracts- coaches aren't responsible for maintaining the salary cap. The buck stops in the front offices.

I didn't say he did approve contracts Tlaz, just had his prints on it , he must have had an input who came and what they were worth, like I say , not all his fault.

The buck stops with the coach - if the money is there to spend, they decide who it gets spent on.

They also bask in the accolades if they get it right.

Des is more concerned about Des to be a great mentor or motivator in any case - a mercenary.

600k a season Doc there's a lot of reasons to jump, or he may have had to take a massive payout to stay and his manager too ( poor poor barstad lol) , is woods to blame , or just the meat in the sandwich?

I have no problem with him going, it's the stupidity of the soft cocks who run the NRL, allowing players to sign for new clubs in the middle of the season!

If he was leaving a corporate job to work somewhere else in 6 months time, he would frogmarched out by security, immediately after they confiscated his phone, laptop and keys, and banned him from the place ... he's played gelati for the Dogs to date ... will he contribute more now?

Better to bench them for the rest of the season.

I do recall hearing something about that Shrunk, and I stand to be corrected, but think you will find that it will be a mid season draft, designed for clubs who lose key position players to long term injury - no issues with that, the player will be gone immediately.

Same as Robbie Farah signing with the Tigers the other day - he wont be hanging around pretending to care how Souths are going for the rest of the year.

What is the right price St George against Parra tonight.

I've taken 1.34 but is that enough.
