Reports are that the Bulldogs are a financial basket case. The two CEO's who put them there are now running rugby league and rugby union.LOL

The only thing better than seeing the Eastern Suburbs Rooters get smashed is seeing the Melbourne Fraud get smashed.Big smile

PS: Great to see the refs pull up all but two Storm tries scored from forward passesUnhappy - they are hopelessDead

Family reasons could be the telling point here at a guess, personally I don't think the storm are travelling the best and guiding them through while other clubs have certain reps depleting their side in s/o could help to consolidate their position on the ladder, slater only needs one good knock and he could be out, Smiths been the glue for QL imo the correct decision, he will be greatly missed but not by the blues.

Needs time to count all the money he has in brown paper bags that he took fraudulently from the NRL? ... sooking because he's finally been caught up with by the refs?... nobody cares?

As long as the NSW do not read the papers and think they just have to show up to win, then maybe they can take care of the queenslanders this year.

Even with Smith on board Melbourne can not win the premiership. They took over 60 minutes to put away Titans last week and the Titans are not playing well at all, and had injury problems during the match.

Remember, it might take intelligence to be smart , but it takes experience to be wise

I think Barnaby Joyce lifted the lid on what husbands get up to when the Good lady isn't there to hold the vows together ( and visa versa ) just as often.
I'd like a quid for every paranoid partner who does a lot of accusing,
Best to stop rooting or retire for family reasons.

Did you hear the old boneheads discussing the Napa sinbinning? "It was just a head-clash. He was trying to make a tackle. Could happen to anyone. Nothing to see. Move on."Wacko

If he was trying to make a tackle, not lead with his head in a dangerous way, as charged, where were his arms?

Napa cleared by match review committee. If there is nothing wrong with that tackle there is something wrong with the game, knuckleheads.Ouch He regularly puts himself in the position when tackling, where a slight error may result in a violent head clash. No worries. Keep doing it.Clap

Also Sutton should be banned from reffing Brisbane games, 15 wins in a row at suncorp under him.. Really! Not sure of Brisbanes overall home record last few years but have lost 3 this year alone..15 in a row is remarkable

Refs don't like upsetting the home crowds .

They are killing quick ,   a game that is dying anyway.

If that is not a dangerous tackle I am dating Miranda Kerr!

Trent Robinsons excuse, and that is what it was , a lying, deceitful, selfish piece of ranting by a coach whose team is underperforming this year, is a great case of looking after your own.

The fact, if it is a fact that Sims lowers or changes his stance (which I do not agree with) is totally irrelevant.

Napa leads with the head, doing his superman impersonation. If a opposition player had done that to any of Robinsons players, he would be seeking a lengthy spell from the game.

And while we are on this issue, I am still wondering what Dylan Walker was sent off for last night in Melbourne. It must be illegal now to bash your face on a players fist.

Yep, no chance of brain damage out there ... they should just be encouraged them to keep doing it!Thumbs Up

While they're at it, why not allow all head shots to be legal ... forearms at least have some padding!Big smile

No wonder the game is played almost exclusively by Pacific Islanders and morons, they are the same people running it.Dead

Bennett stopped short of declaring Napa deliberately tried to injure Sims, who underwent surgery on Saturday night, but labelled the red head’s actions were ‘reckless’.

“Why hasn’t the game made Napa accountable? “I know there will be a s***fight coming my way but I’m not backing away from it and I am not going to watch my players get broken jaws and remain silent,” Bennett told The Courier Mail.

“When you go before the judiciary, they will ask the player, ‘What was your duty of care?’ Well ... where is Napa’s duty of care? This is the most ridiculous situation I have seen.”

The 68-year-old claimed Napa showed ‘no concern for his opponent’ after the match and rubbished the argument that Sims contributed to the head clash.

“For the NRL to justify it by saying Sims changed direction is absolute nonsense,” Bennett said.

“Why are people blaming Korbin Sims? … Tackle technique is about adjusting your tackle to the situation. If you don’t and you head-high someone, you should pay a price.”

So what do you think PT, leading with your head in a tackle is fair play?

That will bring the mums and their kiddies back to the game in droves!!!Dead

I'm sure Gus Gould would have said "... that's not a high tackle", yet if he had been on the end of it in his day, he would have been in a corner of the change room in the fetal position, before they could carry out the HIA!
