Another one of them gets a 2 year sentence for a coward punch assault on Xmas day- as you do. Washed up at the Broncos after the Sharks sacked him for two DUIs in two months. Myles Tuaeli- coming to club near you in 14 months.

As Afros says, its a privilege. If you are lucky enough and good enough to get to the top in your chosen sport, one would think you would do your best to hang onto that position , and show some respect for those that put you there, and the club that is paying you an absolute fortune to play a game . Its not like they are working towards world peace, or finding a cure for cancer, or anything like that. They are playing a GAME for heavens sake , and they are too stupid to act with decency and sense.
All workplaces have rules, and if you dont obey those rules the boss quickly shows you the door. Except in football .

Love it when footy players get a good old reality check, they think they are bigger than the game, have their own laws and can do as they please

I hate this argument that players have the right to earn an income, it came out again Ben Barba, thankfully it was shouted down quickly.
Being a professional sports person is a position of privilege, if you make a sweetheart of yourself than you cop a long suspension the first time and life ban second time, or if severe enough life ban first time.
If you think this is harsh ask a nurse or police officer or teacher what happens to them if they get convicted for say, having a fight at the pub.

True. I saw yesterday some members saying they have handed in their badges etc, after 30 years of supporting the team. That must impact on the team surely ?

I would not worry aa, after about four rounds of absolutely being crucified by the crowds he will want to be stood down.
Dragons fans are loyal, so you know you are in the wrong when even they say they do not want him damaging their jersey's image!

Not De Belin ! He isnt into trying boots. Doesnt need boots for what he did. He has a preggers missus at home , a stupid hair cut, and a smug attitude. Lets see him squirm out of this one.
And NO, he shouldnt be allowed to play until this is sorted one way or the other.

More than a few NRL players will be keen to try the new boot. Mostly on their partners.

Addidas Develop New NRL Style Footy Boot Featuring Ankle Bracelet Compatibility
WENDELL HUSSEY | Cadet | Contact Moving with the times, popular sports brand Adidas have today announced the release of a new range of football boots. The second largest sportswear company in the world made the announcement this morning, unveiling their new styles ahead of the 2019 winter codes season. Notably, the new range will feature a new cutting-edge ‘NRL Boot,’ that will combine the added ankle support popular with modern day players, with the added ability to attach an electronic monitoring bracelet if required. The new feature comes after the gelatishow that was the 2018-19 NRL offseason, which saw many of the games’ players land themselves in hot water. The head of Adidas in Australia told The Advocate that they are expecting the new style to be a big hit. “Our NRL Boot is the perfect bit of kit for the elite and semi-professional rugby league player on the Eastern Seaboard,” he explained. “The flexibility the boot offers puts our rivals to shame, really.” “It allows the authorities to monitor your behaviour if you have favourable bail conditions given to because you’re an NRL player, or if you are given a non-custodial sentence.” “And if you just want to get used to the feel of it, just in case you do something crook during an end of season trip away down the track, then it’s the perfect boot for you.” The boot is expected to be on shelves across the country by the end of the week.

Isnt it easier to support 2 kids than,,3?? or maybe 4 is it now ?? He has to pay and support them so whats her worry ?? Or will she just miss being bounced off the walls on a regualr basis ,,for love of course !!! This woman must be f$$$$d in the head.

Hard to argue with logic aa.
But that is part of the problem, logic goes out the window for abused people or people who are addicted to something.

I cant believe that woman stays with him and keeps breeding to him ! This has already happened once before, when her face was all smashed , and she insisted she ran into a door, or the likely rubbish they dream up at the time. Big seperation and then he is "reformed" and they are back together breeding again, like bloody rabbits !!! Now he ( oh no, thats right , it was a door ), has given her another thumping and we will be hearing all about it for another week . For heavens sake woman, have a bit of pride in yourself and leave the smug little neanderthal, and get a real life.

NFL is an incredibly difficult game compared to rugby league.
"Coming from a quarterback who has
been trained by several professional athletes via camps and paid
training, the playbooks for offenses are very intricate and difficult to
learn. It was one of my first questions when I met former Arizona
Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner.
He described to me that the
wristbands only provide up to roughly 100 plays, but it doesn't stop
there. You must keep in mind that there is an audible system, and for
each play, there may be 5-6 variations of it that change the routes, hot
reads, positioning of certain backs, etc.
The memorization on
the part of the players is immensely difficult, as not only do they have
to know the play, but they must master it and recognize the code words
that the quarterback will be telling them if he chooses to audible into a
new play.
Considering this, the average NFL offense can have
upwards of 500 plays depending on their formations, personnel, and
different variations of each play. It's not impossible to master each of
these plays, but it takes lots of mental preparedness and studying in
order to become an offensive player."
I think, as I thought with Haynes, that he is deluding himself. If an Australian NRL rugby league makes it in the NRL player in any offensive position I will eat my hat. And by make it, I mean consistently gets a game for one whole season and does well enough that they keep him the following season.

Sounds like a manager doing a hail mary to get him out of his contract at Cronulla. Cowboys here I come. If he is playing in NFL next season, I will be representing Australia in the one day world cup next year

I quietly torment my sons re Manly's Master = Evans .
I think he is very ordinary for the money they pay him and to pick him in the Kangaroos yesterday amazed me .
I think our NRL stocks are limited . Easts look good things for 2019

If they are paying them what they are worth, they will need to raid the Sea Eagles and Eels for new signings for next few years, unless they plan to cheat the salary cap ... oh that's right, they self regulate now ... wat could possibly go wrong!
Seriously though, two of the best young players in the game, and getting better ... damn it.

Both Manu and Mitchell are signed with the Roosters till the end of 2020. I reckon they will both be shortly secured for 5 more years if the Chooks are smart.

Would have almost been worth watching for that alone!
Not really, the image you describe is just as good - in 36 years time it will be like I was there!
